• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Today, on June 6, 1945, the invasion of Europe began. The results would change the course of history. Bless and thank those few who are still with us

Good news WE can all appreciate

:thumbup:The focus is and has been on a college degree and "free college". Just look at the Progressives current stance. The big need is for skilled labor and tradesmen not Liberal Arts, English, Political Science and Gender Studies majors...

    "Restrooms are for customers only"

I think this breaks down to "their house, their rules". Entitlement proponents will want to treat the bathrooms and property as public, demand or expect special services or treatment whether appropriate or not and complain loudly or use the race/discrimination card when they don't get what they...

    2011 RT stalling issue

I would agree that this is a good possibility. Same stalling issue/symptoms arose on my 2011RT. After doing a 'SEARCH' on this forum I found several references to the vacuum lines. Had them replaced, (mechanics inspection revealed they were cracked), resolved the stalling issue

Metal shavings on a drain plug magnet any input appreciated

Fact remains it's tough to read when a paragraph is long and uninterrupted. Agree with the need for a little correct grammar and some effort to do it right so folks can spend time the time suggesting an answer rather than figuring out what is written

Very Low Battery and electrical noise

Not keeping on a trickle charger means nothing, many owners bever use them.. You've screwed up something in the electrical system. Everything fine---->put in speaker system----->multiple problems with battery, lights, electrical noise, idiot lights ----->sort of diagnoses itself.

    Motorcycles don't wave back.

Another point we seem to overlook, and one that I've been guilty of more than once, is that the rider can be looking at something else and not see a wave until the last millisecond, too late to return it. I've done it frequently.

    Radar detector

Thanks Mike. As well, many if the LEO's I know, many of whom ride, have stated that they usually don't bother bikes except the crotch rocket riders. They know the rest of us are often busy dealing with the cagers.;)

    Motorcycles don't wave back.

Thanks for this Bob. I rode Harleys previously and never called the hand gesture greeting a "wave". If folks are putting up their hand swaying it back and forth as if they're saying 'hi', I wouldn't expect many to respond. I believe the hand gesture originally started with the 2-fingers down...
