• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Service fees by dealerships

This is not always a reliable rule of thumb.. My dealer was one of the first five Spyder Dealers in the US., was the dealer of the year in 2014 and carries six brands and achieves outstanding service awards from three of them including Can Am

    Spyder in the Smokies

The top speed is set by rider experience, configuration of bike i.e. what shocks, sway bar etc, 1up or 2 up., weather conditions.. It just isn't a question that has an answer that transfers numerically from one person to the next. Most folks try it easy then step it up a notch each time...

    2016 Orders

the New F3 models must have rung loud for some folks because my dealer Central Florida Powersports already has orders for both the F3T and the F3Limited, and surprisingly enough neither is from me (for now that is)

    Trailers & warranty

I have pulled a non Can Am trailer for 4 years now on two different Spyders and my dealer has never even hinted at any problem with my warranty claims. Every issue I have had has been repaired under warranty with no discussion. and yes the dealer know I pull it.. they even assembled it for me

    Another Nice Dealer

One of our club members was riding with family in Northern Minnesota and hit a piece of firewood laying on the roadway. No bumpskid and very shortly a punctured radiator among other damage. He had it towed into Brothers Motorsports in Brainerd, MN. They had no mechanic on duty since Sat...

What if the ST model is discontinued?

when I was at the factory in Valcourt in June there were no RS or ST s on the production line - only F3 and RT. I know some folks love them and I respect that, but apparently it is not a big percentage so sure that will have some sway in the future

    rt not water proof?

I have washed my Spyders many times with a full garden hose spray nozzle and bucket of soapy water - thoroughly drenching it, and never had any problem starting it afterwards

Pretty sweet compared to the old days when we were all shopping for gas shortly over 100 miles....

    Tired of getting wet

I have not owned an RS but the RT and the F3 surely need a mudflap to keep the water from flipping up all over your back, and I agree it seems like we have liquid sunshine almost every day hereabouts...

    F3 reliability and related

I have ridden my F3 12000 miles since March without a hiccup including a Saddlesore 2000 ride last week. My 2014 RTL has over 36000 miles with the same engine without any problems as well.. Your experience, although sad and painful, is rare...

    Opinions for a newbie please!!!

The main F3S has already been announced and introduced at Sturgis for 2016, however I never trust anyone that is trying to pressure me into a date deadline.... Even if you can't do better on price I am pretty sure you can do better in quality of dealer
