• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mileage very sensitive to speed - At 78mph -my normal highway speed I am down to 33mpg. At 55mph (can't go much faster than that on Blue Ridge parkway) I get 45mpg

    BURNOUT !!!!

I would guess Kenny Butler in Florida.. He never starts up without a burnout and loves that sound so much that his tire bill doesn't seem to bother him. I am an aggressive rider and my tires still last twice as long as his.

Passenger heated grips too low - is this normal?

I live in Florida as well.. The rear heated grips work fine on my wife's 2014 RT Limited and we have ridden down into high 30s.. In contrast a friend thought his were not working right and a stop to the dealership verified that indeed they were not.. Now they are fixed and he is happy with...

    Millage

Can't really comment on price since you don't specify which RT model it is, but the big difference is the 2013 has the 998 cc engine with the 2015 has the 1330.. There is a world of difference in performance... Sure the mileage is much better with the 2015, probably 25%, but with the current...

Reputable Can Am Dealer NW of Fort Worth

The maintenance interval is 4600 miles on the 2012 and 9300 miles on the 2014 so you have to change oil. filters etc twice as often, Also they try to slap you with a valve adjustment check on the 2012 every 12-14000 mile and that can cost $600 or more each time by itself.. no such adjustment...

What happened to the 2016 ST Limited?

I agree.. BRP seems reticent to eliminate a product outright no matter how little it sells but a phase out would be more their style...

F3 owners, who can tell me...

Pretty clearly its a dealer option to charge or not.. Mine fitted me and did not charge anything extra. I will never understand the loss of goodwill you get with a $20 or $30 unexpected charge

    How to pack for Spyderfest

On F3 I wear a first gear riding outfit each day and I take a small waterproof bag on the back with base layer clothes plus jeans and a shirt. I have done trips up to 2200 miles so far with this configuration. I have some Nelson Riggs saddlebags that are easy on and off on the F3 but so far...
