• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP stopped making parts for 2015 RS already.

BRP never made those parts. Bearings and seals for most anything are outsourced parts. I should also point out that most cities have business that specialize in bearings and related products. These in MNSHO, are the best place to get quality and cost savings. They can cross reference the...

Is it worth installing the BRP Automatic Air Suspension Kit on an F3T

They should be able to fix the leak, even if that means replacing parts. My 2017 F3T doesn't leak. Went into winter storage at 40psi and came out 5mo later at 39psi. I equate the loss to air temp and loss of air doing check. Regards, Don

    Student Loan Dumbness

Gotta love it! While the cars that Uber is using have a person inside to monitor the situation and enter destination information, I suspect that soon there won't be a driver's seat. The vehicles that Kroger is using in Texas and Pennsylvania for home grocery delivery don't even have seats or a...

    Student Loan Dumbness

No future in OTR trucking. They are going to be the first replaced as they are right now test driving autonomous OTR on several long haul runs nation wide. Uber and other taxi drivers need to look out also. Lots of new cities signing up for autonomous test sites. Local delivery is also in...

What would you change on the Ryker?

A great restoration is when you can you can smash your face down on the paint to get your eye as close to the surface as you can, and you can't see any flaws as you look down the lines of the car. Twenty coats of paint and primer all hand sanded and rubbed between coats. Looks so smooth and deep...

    Student Loan Dumbness

The trades do have their draw backs. In many locations they are seasonal. Feast or famine can mean lots of overtime away from home or lots of layoff time when work slows - especially if you are young and low on the seniority list. Thus lots of time can be spent sitting around on unenjoyment...

Anyone tried these Vredestein Front Tires?

I got less than 5500 on my OEM fronts before they were in the wear bars. Gotta love those twisties! Regards, Don

Anyone tried these Vredestein Front Tires?

Peter... Thank you for the info. I am pretty anal regarding tires. I check my pressure on all vehicles in the early hours before the sun comes up. I don't have indoor storage for more than motorcycles. Once the sun hits any tire, that one gets warm fast. Check pressure at least monthly and...

    Few Q's about servicing

I do the same thing I do with all my vehicles. I keep a box for each with all of the receipts in an envelope, all of the used, replace parts in a labeled ziplock, including oil filter in a second ziplock. I keep these until I get rid of the vehicle. Nice for resale to have every receipt and...

Anyone done a front wheel Tire rotation?

Probably didn't drive enough miles to notice the breakdown. But my guess is that it was happening. Driving directional tires in the wrong direction usually causes ply and tread separation over time. I have seen the results. Perhaps with the OEMs being only 1 ply, it may not be as quickly...

    1st post.....RT vs F3?

I have a XXXL modular. It fits in the 2017 F3T Frunk. I do have to pop off the Sena 20S though to get it to fit. Regards, Don

    1st post.....RT vs F3?

Lower center of gravity and rider position. Way more fun in the twisties. Get an F3, F3S or F3T and it will be more spirited also - larger rear sprocket! Regards, Don

    1st post.....RT vs F3?

I really like the looks of the RT and wanted one for a long time. Road both at a Can-Am sponsored training and bought an F3T because I like the "ergos." Regards, Don

Where are the specs for Trailer Tongue Weight and Pulling Weight

An 1800 GW 3 wheeler! There are more variables than just towing weight. With stopping being the main concern, how loaded is your RT going to be? If you are going to be one up and transferring some of the load from the RT to the trailer, I believe that you can safely exceed towing limits...

Not equivalent! My manual says JASO MA2. The Delo® 400 XSP SAE 5W-40 application chart says JASO DH-2. MA2 is for motorcycle, 4 cycle, wet clutch applications. From JASO web site: JASO T 903 is classified into four grade types, MA, MA1, MA2, and MB, according to the test result based on the...

    RV towing question

In general, wheels connected to an automatic transmission can not be on the ground while moving. A tow dolly for a front wheel drive toad will solve this. A trailer is needed for all wheel or rear wheel drive. Manual shift with manual clutch is generally able to tow w/all wheels on the ground...

    Motorcycle Pet Carriers/Dog backpack carriers

Used to have malamutes with the males pushing 200LBS and females about 150LBS. Never took any of them for a motorcycle ride. One day I was in a road side rest area. Biker pulled in beside me with a pair of standard sized huskies in a trailer behind his ride. He gets out a water bottle and...
