• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The Best LED headlight information

Good video, thanks. Would be interesting if they updated with more of the newer 360 designs, they only had one in the test. I have 2-sided blades now, and am wondering if the 360s would be a better solution. Thanks again

Help me map out how to connect Bluetooth devices?

Phone to the bike. Bike to the headset as headset main channel, could be headset, phone, or.... (not sure what J&M calls it). Then finally the Zumo to the headset as GPS, that way it will interrupt to read directions. You will need to look at the J&M manual to detremine how to switch between...

Does anyone know if the Fobo 2 sensors are now working with BRP Connect? Thanks

    Tom Tom Rider 550

Its hard to tell, but the bar center mount looks the same as the earlier RTs and the F3. If so, the mount at the link below is nicely made and should fit any standard GPS bracket. I have on mine and like it. http://www.lamonstergarage.com/can-am-spyder-f3-rt-gps-swivel-motorcycle-lamonster/

    Gas shock for Spyder seat

You need to replace the shock/cylinder. They are disposable. Very easy to replace.

    Which headset

I've owned 3 Senas and now running a Cardio Packtalk Bold. I MUCH prefer the Packtalk, everything about it is top notch, and the audio quality is far better ---noting I have the JBL version. The only reason to get a Sena IMO is if you ride allot with other Senas, then pairing may be easier...

    Genius Maps or Rever?

Couple of people replied with potential interest Sygic. The online tool I mentioned is discussed at https://help.sygic.com/es/sygic-gps-navigation-for-android/tips-tricks/how-to-use-the-route-planner-tool-on-the-website. Not the best planner I've used, but straightforward.. The conversion...

    Genius Maps or Rever?

I prefer Sygic for general navigation. Rever has some need crowd ride features, but not raeally the same. Sygic will import files, but not GPX. The good news is there is a free program called "ITNConverter" that will convert GPX to many formats including Sygic. You can also do a route on...

    Seat lift strut

Thanks, GREAT info. I had no issue until I put a Utopia backrest on, and a Motorcycle Dave Gel Pad in the seat. Mine will still stay up, but if a fly lands on it pushes it over (very slight exaggeration).......The Suspa would solve any doubt for the long term. Great find.

    2018/19 RT Limited

Above answers on why there are empty are spot on. On mine, I put a dual USB port (lighted in orange) in one, and a "Powerlet" in the second to give me 12V power when wanted (e.g. if I want to add a temp GPS). For the third empty, I put a "Mo-Door" Garage door opened with the switch that looks...

Recommendations of Speakers for 2016 RT Limited

All, My goal is NOT to argue, there are allot of good points in the thread, but to add a point or two. First, the main consideration on how loud a speaker will play is NOT the impedance (resistance), but instead the Speaker sensitivity (or efficiency) level. Sensitivity accounts for several...

    Cardo Bluetooth - any thoughts

I used Senas for years and really liked them, but the stock speakers were marginal at best for music. I also had a Sena remote die with very little use. Never had a Sena die because of water, and did get caught in rain on occasion. I recently purchased a Cardo Packtalk Bold with JBL speakers...

2019 Spyder RT Limited - Firmware Updatee

Big three I know. BRP connect is more stable (on my bike), miles to empty, and you can now bluetooth FM and AUX signals to a helmet.

Has anybody in FL had service issues with dealer Action in Bradenton, FL?

I bought from West Coast Clearwater, and have had good luck wit them. Service techs seem knowledge and were helpful. Not sure how quick they can be, as I had appointments both times, but might be worth a shot. Unfortunately though, sounds like you issue might be hard to duplicate.

    Genius Maps-Again

Both Genius and Sygic offer (or at least did) one week trails. Highly advise giving them both a try first. I much preferred Sygic, although it is not perfect. It is a little better for creating custom routes etc, but after you try you can make your own decision.

    Seat Needed

I am not positive of the question, so if I am providing useless info...... If it is a backrest issue, they can easily be added. I put a Utopia backrest on my 2018 Rt and love it. If you think the backrest may be it, you might try getting some stuffed gym bags, pillow etc in the passenger seat...

Has anyone installed this homelink garage door remote?

For the garage remote, I mounted with two sides tape since only need access every couple of years (or more, have never replaced a battery in one). If I recall, I stuck it to the outside (bottom side) edge of the glovebox. For the fuse block, I found that there is an area under the edge of...
