• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Garth Brooks singing Frank Sinatra ??? Oy Gevalt !!!

Lady Ga Ga is very talented if nothing else. She has a great voice for those type songs. John Legend, nice job. Garth was ok. Seth Mcfarlane is the creator of Family Guy, American Dad and the Cleveland Show. He is an animator by trade. But the guy has a great voice. Zac Brown was also a...

    Door Knockers

Along these same lines, I use to get the people coming to the door selling Windex in an aftermarket bottle. "Sir, I would like to demonstrate this product which is helping me pay for college". look at the van they are traveling in and there's about eight of them in the van. I usually decline and...

    Door Knockers

Many years ago in a state far far away, I was working under my car in the desert sun trying to get it done before going to work. I saw two sets of women's feet walk up. One woman said, "we want to talk to you about Jehovah". I told them I was busy, go the f away. They told me I couldn't talk to...

    What The... ???

I believe that people are getting very tired of political correctness. There have been other events in local news where city council members have voted to keep prayer prior to meeting. Look at the local police agencies who are putting "In God we trust" on patrol cars. Then there are the signs...

    Carrying Concealed

I keep a 9mm close by at home. Loaded with Liberty Home Defense 9mm+P. I carry a Bersa Thunder Ultra Compact .40 loaded with Federal HST S&W 165 grain hollow point. My drop gun is a Taurus PT22. My wife just got her CCW. Will probably get her a S&W 442. She has problems racking the slide on an...

    Enclosed trailer questions

I use a 7x20 Vee Nose. When I got it we had two RTs that fit very well. My good friend Wiredux just bought a 7X20 Vee Nose as well. I have D rings in the floor that I use to tie down the Spyders. They need to be secured. Some folks have the track system. I would not recommend anything smaller...

    Trans Labrador Hwy

Agree with the article in Road Runner. It's a very good article. Personally, I would not do it on a Spyder. But that's just me.

    Silly people

Ride to my VA appointments as often as I can. Normally a two hour ride one way. They have motorcycle parking in the front lot but it's usually full. I head for the parking garage where they have additional bike parking. It's never full. It's actually an oversized sidewalk area with a ramp just...

New Millennium Falcon. I believe too John. Can't talk about much, still under wraps. But i can say we scrambled two fighters one evening and watched them intercept an object over White Sands Missile Range. And it wasn't anything we launched.

    What's your "traditional" Thanksgiving meal?

Normally, turkey, dressing, succotash, mashed sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, rolls or stuffing bread* if we can get it. Broccoli or some other green. Jewish apple cake, some type of pie or two. Wine for those that imbibe. But this year, we'll be going to a local restaurant that serves good...

    Veterans Day Spyder ride.

Tidewater does have good food. Rode in our parade Wednesday. I was the only Spyder. The Harley guys were making themselves heard. So I thought, hmmmm. So I did a couple of burnouts. People loved it. But that wasn't the point of the parade.

    this picture makes me laugh

My daughter did that in base housing. She got hold of a jumper wire from my tool pouch and stuck it in the socket. I heard the bang from the circuit breaker and a yell from upstairs. Ran up and there she was laughing like a hyena while smoke was coming out of the socket. Her little behind was...

here is a question that i am having a hard time answering

Just off the top of my head? New Mexico. Haven't been back there since 1978. Want to ride the F3 up Sierra Blanca. Then run over to Capitan and Lincoln. Then up to the Sangre de Cristo to Wheeler Peak. Then over to Sante Fe for a day or so. Then up in to Colorado for some more twisties.
