• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Getting to windshield control arm?

Yes. It comes to you as a KIT which also includes some instructions and a refreance to the Youtube video. You will also find the arm is somewhat "tighter" as a fit than the OEM arm (it's designed that way) and it lessens a lot of the movement whilst riding.

    Getting to windshield control arm?

You start at the Mirrors, then the panel in front of the windscreen, then the windscreen itself. The rest will become obvious what is needed to come off

Where to get a replacement Windshield Arm?

Still making and selling them. Although out of stock at the moment and can't get out to purchase the raw material to make them as the factory is closed. We are looking at an alternative supplier. As soon as I have some I can let people know. Maybe there are people on the Forum that are holding...

HowTo: Replace the Windsheld Arm with Billet Aluminum Arm.

Try rotating the arm 180' (in other words turn it upside down to the way it's sitting on the shaft now) Also make sure it's positioned half way up and not right at the top or right at the bottom. We have had this same problem a number of time and when people rotate the arm it has worked.

HowTo: Replace the Windsheld Arm with Billet Aluminum Arm.

Reading your post I gather the gear cog in the base is breaking. If that's the case I suggest you find someone that is wrecking a Spyder and purchase the entire base assembly and then replace yours with it on your bike and use your "new" arm.

Don't quite understand, once you remove all 6 screws the windscreen should lift off. Any chance of posting a pic ?

WARNING FOR ALL RT OWNERS * You may want to check this on your machine

We in Australia don't get to see a 2020 model before March / April and there are no parts lists available on line so we don't know what the 2020 model windscreen arm looks like. But if it's the same as previous years, yes it's available.

The arms still appear to be breaking "now and again" as we get someone wanting a replacement. A lot of people seemed to have moved onto F3 Spyders

HowTo: Replace the Windsheld Arm with Billet Aluminum Arm.

Correct, The movement particularly sideways of the windscreen is a participating factor to the fatigue of the OEM part.

Replaced broken windsield bracket with my own 3D printed design

NO not the magnet 180' but the arm itself 180'. Some people seem to get the arm upside down, after rotating it the thing worked perfectly. We have had guys in our workshop do the same thing and it has worked 100% by rotating the arm

Some have had the same problem with our Billet Alloy one and we suggest rotating the arm 180' and that has worked.
