• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had a wreck on my Wing

When I look at my club I notice maybe 5-10% wear body armor. Most own body armor but will not wear it because its uncomfortable, so why buy it? I own body armor but stopped wearing it for the same reasons. Rather than "talk" about body armor and not wear it I "talk" about riding safety...

Had a wreck on my Wing

I t-boned a deer two years ago at 30MPH on a previous bike. Same situation as yours regarding the tree line next to the road. No injuries but $1,000 in damages. With that said...... I still wear only comfortable attire. (t-shirt, shorts) When "fear" plays into my riding then I'll know its time...

    Spark Plug Change

I just did the 28,000 mile service including the spark plugs, engine coolant, filters etc. With that said I cant tell you exactly what he would have charged if I only did the spark plugs. The 28,000 has many items that need to be replaced so I would hand him a detailed list like I did so the...

Portable tire inflater and blown fuse!

https://www.amazon.com/Stop-Go-8065-Tire-Repair/dp/B000N5TTTK/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1535930681&sr=8-5&keywords=motorcycle+tire+repair+kit&refinements=p_89%3AStop+%26+Go I purchased the above kit as well as extra CO2 cartridges. The CO2 cans have a threaded cover that you screw on a small...

    Coolant leak?

Keep an eye on the fluid level. Regardless of what you see on the ground the coolant level is gospel.

How to Check the Safety Card at Night!

Here we go with the thought police.:banghead: I'm into photography and those pictures look amazing and want to know if they are enhanced in any way. Photographers will often enhance a picture because not all scenes can be captured like the naked eye can. Damn I wish people like you...

Portable tire inflater and blown fuse!

Exactly what I just stated in my post. Those electric pumps are worthless when needed and why I went with those tiny CO2 cartridges.

How to Check the Safety Card at Night!

Beautiful pics...…….but are they fake or enhanced? Not being disrespectful but we are in the digital age and being a photography fan I need to know. If they are genuine can you give up your camera settings? If they are fake, what photoshop are you using? Thanks

Portable tire inflater and blown fuse!

I kept a good small bicycle pump in my fronk until recently. I then switched to a "Stop-n-Go" plugging kit with those tiny CO2 canisters. Recently (on another thread) I had a Stop-n-Go vulcanizing kit that was less then worthless and switched to the old fashioned rubber wormy type...

    Hope you're all happy now!

Arguing over tires?......seriously? The threads on tires have never devolved into a fight. If I was at a dinner party and we talked about tires the conversation would sound like a tire thread. My "arguement" was traction and only requested citations that show its not being lost.:banghead: Until...

    Another Honda.....

I'm placing my money that its a homemade job. I do not believe that Honda quality would build a bike like that and put their logo on it.

    Extended Warranty

If you are asking me....yes I did. They were close enough in the price and I like to give them my business so they have a vested interest in keeping me happy.

What Canada is teaching me about Spyder design

Canadian Bacon I hate Canada. They sell gas by the liter.....who does that? Their money looks fake. They're unusually friendly.....like in the USA just before they rob you. Their hotels have french speaking only channels....a clear sign of trouble. They're signs are in kilometers which screams...

    2019 rumors

The riding season (warm weather) is drawing to a close in about 6 weeks. With that said I would wait till the 2019s come out. If the difference is miniscule then you could buy a leftover at a bargain especially considering the time of year.

Yes, another enclosed trailer question please

You'll need to park your Spyder and Ducati as close as possible but with enough room so if they move around slightly they do not touch anything. Measure the area needed to do this and that will tell you the size of the trailer. The weight might make you go from a 4 pin to a 6 pin which means...

    Safety Gear

Like any accident, you pay. Like I have previously stated, why are people "allowed" to over eat, smoke etc yet when someone rides an MC with limited gear they are ridiculed? When I used to go skiing at Killington or Okemo we would laugh at the amount of people hauled off the mountain with...

My new camper design to pull behind Spyder

Nice design but good luck if you think that trailer will weigh roughly 300 pounds. I'm guessing roughly twice that ……..and when loaded with the camping basics?

    Safety Gear

that's a good question.:agree: I'll admit I am unable to scientifically answer it though. Maybe I should start another thread and ask those "big" members. I'm sure BRP has a max load listed somewhere and it has been exceeded at least a few times.:opps: Weebles wobble but they do fall down....:joke:

    Safety Gear

I will. My insurance will. Like any adventure sport...…...not the spectator and certainly not the taxpayer.
