• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Took the Rykers out today. The dirt roads were quite muddy and wet. It’s now time to shorten the front fenders. Broke the little wing on the bottom of the fender. Those things are quite low for off road and don’t really help keep water off you. I’ll post some photos after I cut them.

    I don’t usually winterize my toys. There are always rideable days throughout the winter. I can usually get 80 or more miles a week through winter.

    After reading this post I lost most of my states visited. I’ve adjusted it to show states visited on the Ryker. Looks like I have a lot of work to do.I may get to add Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire this weekend.

    Went back to the restaurant to check video. Delivery guy clipped the fender with the rear of his truck turning out of the lot. We’re going to go back with a thumb drive to copy the video the call the company.

    I played around with some polyethylene welding rod. Seems to stick ok. I only have white so it doesn’t look great but it holds well. If this was a painted piece it would work and look good once painted. Because this is just a rough plastic piece sanding the weld kills the original plastic...

    Great weather for a ride today we stopped for lunch and came out to find the right front fender on one of the Rykers got hit. Nobody came in to see who they hit, they just left. People suck.

    A visit from a member here from Conn. tomorrow

    Sounds like a great trip. I miss riding up to Vt. I lived in RI my whole life until moving to NJ in 2020. Use to ride up to VT almost Saturday am for some great rides. Look forward to some clips.

    Looked at the fender this morning. Don’t think I’ll cut anything just yet. Not sure how losing some of the clips that hold the 2 pieces together will affect the strength of the assembly.

    Has anyone modified the front fenders to get them higher on the back side? On the dirt/sand roads here they tend to plow sand causing drag. I don’t want to remove them but maybe cut them so they are higher from the ground.

    Dirt ride yesterday on the Ryker - Lots of Fun!

    We’re hoping to get out there again tomorrow this time with the 360 camera and a tracking app to try to map out routes. Available maps don’t cover the dirt tracks very well so it’s hard to know where you’ll pop out of the woods.
