• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery Dying in cold weather overnight

I personally use the BatteryMinder with Desulfation on all my batteries. But any "smart" tender should work fine.

    Nitrogen in Spyder Tires?

I can't see the need to go the Nitrogen route. Doesn't take but a few seconds to top off a tire if and when needed.

Battery Dying in cold weather overnight

Wouldn't hurt to have your battery on a smart tender also. Keep it fully charged and ready to go. I'm guessing you have the charge lead (ring terminal) already hooked up. Also FYI: You have to be careful when purchasing "new" batteries. They may be new to you but they may have sat on a shelf...

Battery Dying in cold weather overnight

If battery dies in 20 degree weather it sounds like time for a replacement. Make sure the terminals are clean and tight on the battery. Give battery a full charge then check voltage and load test it. As far as the jumper wiring goes, I wouldn't want to send that juice through the small guage...

    Bike Night.

I would have no issue attending a bike nite. Doesn't matter what you drive or ride, there is always someone who can't seem to get over it. I ride all makes of bikes including a HD - I don't care what people think - I'm out to enjoy the ride.

How many Owners buy the B.E.S.T. Spyder Extended Waurentee Insurance?

Since this will be my first Spyder, decided to go for the B.E.S.T. warranty. It's a roll of the dice but maybe I can get a good deal before I order/purchase.

    Immobolize a Spyder?

Could go with a motorcycle alarm and a Lock & Chain. Or if it's possible, rent a storage building close by and keep it there.

    Sta-bil...add more if riding occasionally?

According to their website: "Effective in all gasoline, including Ethanol and Non-Ethanol" I have used it in the past since all I use is e10 - no issues. Now I use Sea Foam 100%.

    Sta-bil...add more if riding occasionally?

I would add more stabilizer of your choice in the ratio stated on the container. Just don't over use it. I went for a ride this weekend and afterwards topped off with two gallons of E10 gas - so I added the recommended seafoam. Now I'm good until the next warm spell, or spring, whichever...
