• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My friend Doug

This is not the message I want to deliver at Christmas time but here it is; My scans were very bad again with lymph nodes becoming more involved, liver tumors that are larger and more plentiful, lung tumors growing and an overall weakness. I had to be in the hospital on Tuesday night because I...

    Hydraulic Lift

I have a Direct Lift, with side extensions, that I used on a BMW RT 1200. When I got the Spyder I bought longer pipes for the side extensions, you would have to move the front wheel stop to the right or left extension so that the Spyder's noise doesn't hit it. Reasonably priced. I use a small...

    Front wheels

You should not have to remove the fenders but the higher you can get the Spyder off the ground the better. If your tires are the OEM tires they are a directional tire and will have to be dismounted from the rim to be rotated.

Paid too much for HMC filter?

I think the free part was for the black lower panel when you get a oil change from the dealer before May 2013. I just today bought the new trans. filter and cap $8.00

Tease- new panel for faster oil changes

Put mine on today, not that hard to install. The time consuming part was taking all the panels off to remove the old one. It's going to be a lot faster to change oil and filters.

    Yoshimura Exhaust

I used a Dremel with a cutting wheel, no need to cut all the way through the weld, stop before you get into the muffler housing, put your Allen wrench on the screw and turn, the weld will break loose.

How do I disassemble the RT mirror housings?

You shouldn't have to drill any holes, there is a large hole on the inside mirror housing that you can run the wires through. Once you get the covers off then you can separate the mirror housing and the mirror will move back about an inch, then run your led strip on the mold line.

do i really need to install a juice box?

Two Brothers Juice Box is an electronic/computer box about the size of a deck of cards, that when wired into the Spyders OEM harness allows you to add or subtract fuel and bypass some of the signals sent to the ECU. Most Juice Boxes and Power Commanders have programs/maps already downloaded into...

Had mine checked at the dealer, after replacing rear tire, the tech said it was in spec on the high side, checked at home with the Krikit, bike on the ground and it read 180.

Can I swap Wheels with another model?

I have RS wheels on my 2011 RT-S, if this what you are going to do, you will need to install a 1/2" spacer on the bottom of the fender support brackets, to move the fenders in towards the bike.

    Best aftermarket windshield

This from the Calsci web site: Nearly all of our windshields have vents. These vents are part of the aerodynamic design of the shield, to reduce turbulence and noise. They are not there to make a flow of air on the rider. When you're riding on the highway, any windshield is pushing air away from...

going to put on a yoshimura exhaust

I have a Yoshimura-R77 on my 2011 RT-S plus a Green filter and a Juice Box Pro. I ran 500 miles with only the R-77 and Green filter and it ran ok but with the JB Pro its a whole different bike, more responsive and it seems to have more power in the lower rpm's. I didn't want the RT running any...
