• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have to agree. Sounds likes you like what I post and don't post what I don't like. Like the old saying. As long as things go my way, I'm flexible David

Question on fender tip lights 08 GS

Was wanting to put 194 led bulbs in my fender tip running lights. Do they have to have a resistor in them or can I run any 194 led bulbs in them. Was wondering if it would fool with the computer. Seems like I read a post about this, but cannot find it. thanks, David

    QUESTIONS ABOUT BLEEDING RTL BRAKES

There is a bleeder on the VSS system. I have never used BUBS while doing my system. You just don't want to turn the key on while you are bleeding the system and make sure you have a good brake pedal before turning the system on. I bleed the VSS last. Not a easy task getting to it on my GS. But...

    QUESTIONS ABOUT BLEEDING RTL BRAKES

They say to take the caliper off and move it to a place on the rotor so the bleed valve will be straight up and the air will bleed better. When I done mine I took a piece of hose about 3 ft long and put just a little fluid in it and while I pumped the brakes it wouldn't suck air back in. I just...

    New spyder owner with questions

Remember to hold the handle bars with a soft touch. Think about holding 2 eggs in you hand and squeezing just hard enough without breaking the eggs. I had to learn this after coming off 2 wheels. Relax the grip and enjoy the ride. David

That has been used for a long time on belts. Sometimes the simple things makes a big difference. This might help others with a squeaking belt. David

    Will a 205/60 work on my 2015 F3 S

Going to run 16 psi in the life of mine and will post the final mileage. Like yourself I don't ride it easy. Only bad thing here in Mississippi the have the grey rock that they use to pave the road. Like running on very abrasive roads and eats tires quickly. So my tire wear will be greater than...

    Will a 205/60 work on my 2015 F3 S

I use to run a 215/60/15 on my 08 GS Spyder. I am now running a 205/55/15 Yokohama S drive on back and really like the tire. I cannot comment on mileage, but wet and dry traction is excellent. I'm running it at 18 psi. I know the 60 series will lower your rpm's but I like the 205/55/15 tire.JMO...

    Belt Tensioner

If I was looking at the SE 18 set at 10 degrees would put around 16 lbs of pressure using the standard hole and the SE 15 would apply around 5 lbs. A lot of difference in weight applied. Of course you could set the SE 15 to around 20 degrees and get around 15 lbs of pressure on the belt. So I...

    Belt Tensioner

My buddy has this style on his spyder. I think the SE15 is the way to go. If I had known about this piece I would have went this way instead of the way I went. His way is way cheaper and very efficient. I think I had around $175.00 in my set up. The risers and the low and brow piece was that...

    Belt Tensioner

Which tensioner did you get? I was looking at the SE15. I'm always looking to improve or make it simple . Keep me posted on how you come out and what materials you use. I used a roller skate wheel with double bearing for my tensioner and if I go the SE tensioner I will probably use the same type...
