• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My wife and I just returned from our yearly ryde to Spokane for the Combat Vet. Riders annual ryde. We had a great time and got to see our good friends from up there. Anyone can use whatever oil you want. I for one am sticking to what works best for me. Until i retired, I built sandrails, VW motors and transmissions. From the ground up. I have had no problem with either of our :spyder2::spyder2:s. But I do find after a long ryde and getting off to rest a bit, I go into limp mode for a bit till the body stretches. Limp and hobble is just a way of life for us oldsters. As for the :spyder2::spyder2:s, their just not old enough yet.

    ESI Easy Risers and the nightmare of cable slack

    Believe it or not, only one zip tie has to be cut. It is the one way up in front at the end of the cable tunnel just under the control module. You need to remove the right side cover near the trunk and the lower right side panel. Turn handlebars to the left, flashlight to see the loop that is...

    Clutch sensor (?) Wiring

    I have now installed risers on my :spyder2: and my friends. Mine were the 41/2" easy risers, his were the 3" because he has a 1" riser from dealer already installed. You only have to cut one tie. If you take the top plastic on the right side, and the piece that covers the area near the swing...

    REDA=REEKA !

    My wife asked me if carrying a gallon of gas in a can might be dangerous in our saddlebags. I politely told her you straddle 6 or more gallons most of the time so not very dangerous. I find there are plenty of gas stations on all trips. I can not see a need to carry. We stop every 80 to one...

    Question for High Spyders

    I have found that when ryding, if you leave the oxygen based environment of the planet, the :spyder2: tends to starve. But then so do you. So ryde below 15K feet and you should be ok. But if not and you start to get crazy, ryde very fast to the bottom. We never had a problem at high altitudes...
