• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    600 vs 900 speed test

There's no tire squeel in Martin's video so I would guess no. That could be due to lack of sport mode on the 600 so the traction control stops it slipping. I presume Martin had the 900 in sport mode and that's why he got wheel spin in the video.

Rear Wheel Size - Base vs Rally Edition

I've got to agree, I think the standard rear wheel is the best looking. I lke the 'dished' in look. I personally don't like the rally wheels at all - they are not to my taste.

    600 vs 900 speed test

True - rider weight is going to be a bigger factor on the Ryker as you say. F3 = 913lbs + 275lbs for rider = 1188lbs. Riders weight is 30% that of the bike. Ryker = 616lbs + 275lbs for rider = 891lbs. Riders weight is 45% that of the bike. Weight is based on Martin's by the way!!! I'm not...

    600 vs 900 speed test

What I really want to see now is an F3 on the same road in the same test. That would give us a proper comparison. I might message Martin............. OK, just read the youtube comments and Martin pretty sure his F3 would get to 100km in aroud 5 seconds. Shame he didn't run the same test on...

600cc Ryker at Test track and Test speed of Both versions!!!!

I think that's the most honest review yet and he deviates from the 'be polite about the new product' line a bit more than all the previous ones. There's a really telling cut in the video at a point where he starts to say what he thinks! His face says it all! What he seems to say without...

    Ryker burn out

And very easily with the single swing arm.

    F3T BRP Heated Grip

They do take a fair bit of time to get warm, certainly not immediate. Try taking it for a 15-20 minute ride with them on to make sure they aren't working before you take it back.

Favorable Ryker review in The Guardian (major UK newspaper)

Ah ok, after reading about how much trouble it is to get TUV to agree a different tyre (on spyderforum.de) I presumed everything was prescribed. A solution like those above will be the first thing I would do to a Ryker as those rear stalks ruin the back end. Would look much better with them...

Favorable Ryker review in The Guardian (major UK newspaper)

Only if licence was issued before 2013. After 2013 motorbike test is required unless you have a disability in which case you can take a 3 wheeler test: Motor tricycles If you hold category B1 entitlement (trikes and quads), when you renew or replace your licence after 19 January 2013 it will...

Favorable Ryker review in The Guardian (major UK newspaper)

Ah thanks for those. The light 'pods' for the headlights look ok but those rear stalks are horrible!! UUrrgghhh. I thought the F3s were bad. They will need an replacing or bringing in at the very least. Luckily we don't have your TUV so we can get away with altering them and no-one will...

Favorable Ryker review in The Guardian (major UK newspaper)

In the UK you need a licence issued before a certain date to ride one without a motorbike test (2013 I think) as it comes under some very old 'tricycle' rules. The government stopped including them with new licences after that date. No need to wear a helmet in UK either, but I wouldn't ride it...

    Turbo and Jumping.....LOL

I would have said a turbo ryker is nailed on for either next year or the year after so not far fetched at all. 100ish HP and $13000 sounds about right to me and then maybe some limited edition higer performance models for a premium further down the line. The question I would ask is why would...

    Undressed Ryker Photos

Cheers Pete, thanks for the heads up. Had a look round but can't find that one and I've Just been through about a dozen test rides on you tube!! So if you do track it back down I'd be grateful as I kept hoping someone would demo the reverse lever. .

    Undressed Ryker Photos

Thanks for the reply, if it stays in place then I could probably lift my leg to move the lever with my artificial foot. Really looking forward to a test drive of one of these next year.

    2019 F3-S Special Series

Not tempted to try a Ryker first Darren? Could save you £6K if performance is similar? Not sure it would be worth selling an F3 to get one but as your F3 has gone to the great breakers yard in the sky.

    Where's my 50 lbs?

Interesting, I'd never have thought about tuning the CVT (I've never owned an ATV). Just read an article all about the clutches and the springs inside them so thanks for the prompt.

    Where's my 50 lbs?

Go on then, I'll give you a serious answer. I think the answer is that the 850lbs was wrong and they corrected it to the correct weight. Mine was manufactured in July 2014 (so it's one of the original production run) and the unladen weight on my certificate of conformity is 408KG, which =...

    Ryker vs F3 Comparison Video

That video shows how massively overweight the F3 now looks compared to the Ryker. All that weight loss has got to help make the handling better on tight twisty bends.

    Ryker Ykester!!!

Me too, I'd be happy to pay £13000-£14000 for a Ryker Turbo.
