• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    three or 4 wheeler motorcycle

I don't know about the Tesseract just being a design exercise as Yamaha bought the rights to patents and production of the 4mc technology And the Tesseract has the "Mantis" style arms at the from like the 4mc. I spoke to the owner of 4mc who was trying to do something with the technology...

    three or 4 wheeler motorcycle

Eeep! :yikes: I really don't like the front end on either of those companies machines with either 3 wheels or 4. Just as a design style they leave a lot to be desired and appeal is 1/3rd to 1/2 of motorcycling. Form must meet function.

    2013 spyder's

May interest people to know that Can-Am has already released the details of next years ATV/UTV models in JUNE! I believed they did that for competitive advantage at the time as Can Ams maligned AWD system had been upgraded and should see superior levels of performance and so being virtually all...

    Countersteering... countersteering... countersteering...

Not a direct commentary on your own experience but... It still gets me that in some instances people insist they are counter steering their Spyder or that people who ride leaning bikes insist that direct steering cannot be used especially at lower speeds. I havent ridden any bike except an atv...

Interesting buy for a Spyder project

And sounds even better, looked through some of the video's and a guy grabs a big handful of throttle and it revs up but doesn't seem to be pulling like a 14yo or anything?? Wheres the 164Hp?? :spyder: I love the sound though and for you guys in the States it would move it a step closer to all...

Interesting buy for a Spyder project

The project sounds OK and certainly one thats been proven in that capacity before but apart from the shaft (which can have as much against as for like drive line back lash that can lock wheels although I guess their ABS would fix that), the engione got many more ponies? or a fatter torque curve...

Interesting buy for a Spyder project

What kind of project can you do on it? Haven't seen any real projects done to the outside or inside of a Spyder apart from the peripherals and two straight rear axle 4 wheel conversions. I'm genuinely interested in project Spyders, what are the sort projects that can be done to a Spyder?

    Adrenaline Rush in Australia?

Fully appreciate your wish for higher standards and particular for road education and skill development for not only riders but drivers as well. We'd all be better off and since government courses stop well short of the level of proficiency we all come to expect as bike riders we can only as you...

    Can Am Leaning Trike Patent

Delays always aggravate me, even if its within the same month the lack of movement on a project get me jumping. Still hope to meet with potential designers and manufacturers soon and then get on with it. :banghead::banghead:

L-1 Para just bought my 09 Spyder

Dude believe me you have taken my post completely the wrong way I am being very sincere when I say I'm glad to see people winning, doing the things the want to do and that I shouldn't speak in absolutes about the willpower of the individual. That is who I am 100% sincere, if I thought it was BS...

L-1 Para just bought my 09 Spyder

Certainly should NOT have made such an absolute statement as I have seen para ride MX and a full dual hip level amputee riding a race MC Quad faster than I have ever done or will. And as a fellow enabled rider should know the ONLY absolute is that you cannot speak in absolutes about individuals...

L-1 Para just bought my 09 Spyder

How is your balance on the spider? Obviously we cant ride a normal motor bi-wheel motorbike so the three wheel bikes are the way to go in most places although you can go four in some US states, most of Asia and Europe. How does the rigid stance of the spider suit you. Is it something you have...

    Another leaning Trike

By the way - Who's keeping a foot in "Both Camps" just in case Seems BRP recognise there is a market for a Crossover machine, similar to what I may build out of the Spyder but look nothi9ng like it starting with Spyder but definitely crossover. Ever seen a http://www.wesllcorp.com ??

    Another leaning Trike

In discussions with my Engineer from the Roads certification body, its all a bit hard for him and he needs somebody else to do it from concept to delivery. But I may already have that in place with approval from agreement last week from an international triumvirate including Stanford University...

    Another leaning Trike

I haven't seen this arguement before Dan, I'm sure people had their reasons and their qualifiers for what they said so I don't wish to re-open it suffice to say though I believe I could produce a set of qualifiers that would favor a leaning tryke and even in a one for one changeover of leaning...
