• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Auto tune / install and HMF / do it yourself

For me, without have a lot of techinical knowledge, why try to tune seperate cyclinders when tuning them together works very well.

Auto tune / install and HMF / do it yourself

When you ride, the auto tune is "logging" recommended adjustments for the map but not changing the map. The changes have to be downloaded into the map. At some point in a perfect world, the adjustments would be +1, -1, etc and are not worth the time to make changes to the map. The autotune...

Auto tune / install and HMF / do it yourself

I let the autotune tell me what the AFR should be then downloaded it into the map and saved it. I didn't manually change any settings and don't know what my settings are right now. Wife is gone for another week with the laptop so I can't check. I still have some playing to do. I wasn't able...

    Bought the HMF exhaust

Nah, it's easier than some other maintanence items. You replaced them with Honda gaskets, right?

    Spyder Dealership Recommends Harley

I pulled the rear tire, took it to my neighborhood tire shop, got it mounted with Ride-On in it, put it back on and then had the dealer check the belt tension. This goes real smooth at home. I can see where it might be difficult on the road. My dealer doesn't do tires either and says he...

Auto tune / install and HMF / do it yourself

Just an FYI. The best price I found a few weeks ago was $500 for both at indysuperbikes.com

PCV is 25-004 Autotune is AT-200. The AT-300 has dual O2 sensors for monitoring each cylinder separately. Go here and select Make:Bombardier - Model:Can-Am Year:2009 and the parts will come up. http://www.powercommander.com/powercommander/products/AutoTune/powercommander_autotune.aspx

Auto tune / install and HMF / do it yourself

My wife's is a 2008. It works just fine. I don't think there is any engine performance or operational differences between a 2008 and 2009.

Auto tune / install and HMF / do it yourself

I agree with all of the above and those are great pictures. The instructions say to mount it by the fuse box. This didn't work too well for me. I didn't think there was enough room there, so I mounted it under the seat on the left side with velcro. I just used the preloaded map and let the...

removing the right side panel under the seat

Not sure what it takes to remove that. I think I've had everything off but that. Just a thought....Why not fasten whatever it is you are going to use to the side of the steel rectangle tube running through the center under your seat. The metal is going to be stronger than the plastic. A...

    Bought the HMF exhaust

The spyder does not have a carburetor. It is fuel injected. You may need a fuel management system. An O2 modifier, juicebox pro, power commander, etc. Two Brothers sells the JB Pro.

    IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP

It's been a while since I put the comfort seat on my wife's spyder. I do remember I had to loosen/remove some bolts, but I did not have to completely remove the sports rack. I didn not do any thing with the release mechanism. Here are instructions for the backrest install if you need them...

    Question??? With all respect.

My wife can't hold up 2 wheels but, with her Spyder, she can ride with me. They are fun to ride and she can whip me 0 to 90 any day of the week. It is good that you found SpyderLovers. This is the place to be when you want to continue the "wind in your face" life and can no longer do it on 2...

The Hindle finally blew, so what to do?

I did the same thing for my wife, less the tip. She loves it. It ran okay with the O2 modifier, but I put a Power Commander 5 with auto tune on it and she says it runs better than the day we bought it.

    O2 sensor mod

I think I will be posting one for sale this weekend, time permitting.
