• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So, how far and how many nights for you to get to Durango? Going direct or making any stops along the way? We're going straight to Durango but plan on spending another week or more in CO.

    Inexpensive Com Unit

I "believe" you can listen to a gps using bluetooth and plug an iPod directly into the unit. That's what I have done. But I don't know if you can pair the iPod (or iPhone) to the GPS and hear both by bluetooth. Haven't tried it, and I've pretty much decided that I drive better without too...

I think that should do it. After I registered I printed off the screen that acknowledged the registration. But I didn't receive any confirmation otherwise.

    THANK GOD FOR 3 WHEELS

We came real close to an identical experience when we were riding in VT during a very hot spell. My wife kept saying she needed to get off the bike. Fortunately I found a place to pull over before she passed out, but she immediately lay down while I helped her drink and cooled her off with...

    New Trailer/Superclamp Install

I actually drove my Spyder up on my trailer with it attached to the tow vehicle. Then I weighed the tongue weight and adjusted the position of the Spyder to assure the tongue weight was in the range of 10-15% of the total weight of trailer plus Spyder (closer to 15%). That determined where...

    Best BBQ in Michigan?

The Ohio group, or Indiana, Wisconsin, or Illinois would all be welcome! Don't look too hard for that Ohio football. I don't know anyone who wants it. :roflblack::roflblack: p.s. Ann, you'd be welcome, too. Isn't it time to schedule a return to Michigan?

Avoid Progressive Insurance with the Spyder

Actually, Bob, although I don't agree with everything he said, I think he said it well and without being touchy. JMHO I think we should be very, very careful before pointing the finger (or our typing hand) critically at someone on the internet. it's just too easy.

    Best BBQ in Michigan?

Yes, I was listening in ... ;) But seriously, let's keep in touch about good BBQ, whether it's smoked or just cooked and covered with BBQ sauce. We need to keep it within a day ride, but that should leave a lot of places to choose from.

    Best BBQ in Michigan?

BBQ was my idea. The group Meet 'n Eat was definitely your idea. But I'll be happy to try to coordinate something. We'll be in CO for 3-4 weeks so it will be late July or some time in August.

    Best BBQ in Michigan?

That's an excellent idea. Something like the ride up to Joe's Gizzard City - just pick a destination and a time. Unfortunately for you some of the best looking places are in your back yard! lol Hopefully we'll get some more suggestions. And we could always stage an invasion of Ohio, the...
