• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BBQ Ride - August 18th - Willis, MI

Randy, This sounds like a great idea. Is this the place that used to be the Fried Pickle or something like that? Anyway it's on our calendar.

Very good video about something I never knew about. What a proud tribute by the survivors of December 7th to their fallen comrades.

flat tire, what will happen then?

This is the kind of dealer that BRP should hear about. No excuse for putting someone who is on the road, far from home, at the back of the line ... and then act like you're not even a customer! :lecturef_smilie:

flat tire, what will happen then?

:agree: And I have needed to use mine. I used a Stop and Go patch kit which worked just fine until I could get to a dealer. The flat was easy to find - a nail was buried right in the middle of the tread.

Well, Billy, if you're going to be in Michigan you could bring one along and do the install! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: By the way, love my handbrake, and thank you again for going out or your way at Spyderfest 2 to replace a defective part. Great service from ISCI!

    winter is coming be prepared

You're kidding, right? Or are you already tired of riding weather? :roflblack: Not sure those would be legal in Michigan. We don't allow studs, so chains might not permitted either. :dontknow:

    ACS Rear Susp. Adj w/ remote - 2010 RT-S

Tobor, Scotty and Mark, Thank you all for your thoughts on this one. It seems that any change which must be made will require BUDS. However, I will test it as Scotty recommended and see if the height changes appropriately. At least I'm fairly certain that with a reading of 120# it doesn't...

    ACS Rear Susp. Adj w/ remote - 2010 RT-S

Last weekend my wife and I had the most uncomfortable ride we've ever experienced on the Spyder. Very harsh with the back wheel practically going air borne on every bump. When we got home I found the pressure in the rear at 120#. It's only supposed to range between 20 and 90#. On today's...

    What do other bikes get?

My BMW R1200GSA has an 8.7 gallon tank. Way more than I need for most riding and I never fill it up unless I'm heading out for a long road trip. I can usually get 45-50 mpg if I'm not running 70 mph, so range is far, far more than I can tolerate as the driver. On the Spyder the ability to...

    Ride to Hell, July 28th.

That sounds like a pretty good endorsement in addition to mxz600's. I'm a little "in between" right now, as my daughter is due with our 3rd grandchild on 8/20 but got news today it may be a bit early. Nonetheless I'd suggest someone pick a date that works and I know I'll try to be there if I...

    Brp trl 622 loading

Besides balancing the load side to side, it's even more important to have the proper hitch weight. If I remember correctly from one of Scotty's posts, hitch weight should not exceed 40#. I generally go for 10-15% of the total trailer weight and have had no problems. I weigh with a simple...
