• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My wife pulls a custom trailer for our English Setter and at rest stops she has been asked what she is hauling and has gotten some strange looks when she says "My Husband".

    teardrop camper

I'm not sure how many thousands of miles you have pulled a camp trailer with your spyder but I have over 50,000 miles of experience with pulling one and the last time was a Coast to Coast ride that was 11,000 miles , 66 days, 26 states in all kind of weather. I was pulling a Aspen popup classic...

    Riding with your dog

We have used a custom dog trailer for our English Setter and stop and let her out every time we stop for fuel. The trailer is insulated with 2" fiberglass and aluminum panels. She has ridden over 10,000 miles in her trailer but is 14 years old and arthritic now and traveling is getting harder...

Great hitch solution to minimize the bounce

I took this photo of a hitch that is fitted on a Lees-ure Lite trailer and has been tested for thousands of miles. The the trailer is pulled by a Spyder and it really makes a difference in the bounce created by the hitch being mounted through the axel. I pulled an Aspen with my RTL for over...

    Trunk Gas strut

Where is the best place to get a new strut for my 2014 RTL Trunk. It is starting to fail and this is something I'm sure I can replace myself.

    Pull behind trailer....

I have had a number of trailers including the one you are showing, it served us very well on a number of long rides. I pull a pop up tent trailer and my wife pulls the cargo trailer, just don't put glass in the cooler or eggs, as they may not make the trip to your final destination.

    Any Tailwind trailer owners?

My wife pulls a Champion that is similar and has coil-over and air ride suspension. Last summer we took a 11,000 mile Coast to Coast ride that lasted 66 days and covered 26 states and the trailer performed flawless.

    Planning a trip

300 miles is easy on the RTs, personally I stay off the interstates as much as possible as my wife and I prefer the back roads and they are slower and less stressful than the interstates . Last year we took a Coast to Coast ride from Newport Oregon to Boston and stayed on Hwy 20 the entire way...

Anyone here tow a tent camper, a time out, or leesure lite behind their Spyder?

I pull a Aspen with my 2014 RTL and before that with my 2013 RTL without any problems. I have over 50K miles of towing experience with the RTs. Last summer my wife and I did a 66 day, 11,000 mile coast to coast and back ride with our spyders with no issues . We have some friends the have a...

    Ryding PCH

we just rode Hwy 1 and 101 last week. we have done the entire PCH at least 5 times. In my opinion the best part is from San Fran north, you can have the rest going south but to much traffic and to many people for me and most of the views are blocked or private. the great thing about 101 in...

How do Oregon riders handle this?

In the Portland Metro area they have a law that the attendant needs to hand you the nozzle and you can do the rest, they can get a hefty fine if they get caught ignoring the stupid law. Almost all of them ignore it, but still can get fined. Everywhere else in the state you can do it all by...

Confused about Oregon travel limits coming in July

So far as of June 15th most county’s are in phase one of reopening, many restaurants are open to limited seating. The only county that is not open is the Portland Metro Area, as for gas pumping , motorcycles can pump their own gas, motels are open except for the Portland area. Hopefully the...

    Mean people suck

Very well said Jack, clearly the two wheeler has a mental problem and responding to someone like this is like throwing gas on a fire and showing light on ones own insecurities, my wife and I both ride our own RTL’s and have over 100k miles of touring logged , life is just too short to live...

    Sena +Mesh reviews

My wife and I had been using Uclears for the last 6 years and never been happy with them so for our Coast to Coast ride last summer we purchased the Sean’s 30k and have been extremely satisfied with them, during our 11,000 mile ride we linked up with several groups of riders which surprised us...
