• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Motorcycle camping

It's an Aspen Sentry. We've had it about for 6 years, our first RT was a 2013 and we rode two up and pulled the trailer all over the PNW with no problems. Now my bride pulls a dog trailer or a cargo trailer and I pull the Aspen and we have changed to the bigger engine for the mileage and...

    Motorcycle camping

The concept is good but not the weight or the price, also I hate when I can look at a photo and see that it was just staged for the photo shoot. I my younger and single years I camped many nights with a tarp and bed roll that I carried on my bike, you NEVER tie off on the LOW side so the bike...

With my 2014 RTL and her 2015 RTL we usually hover around 38 - 40 mpg we set cruise control at 60 and take as many back roads as possible . We are leaving in 5 weeks for a Coast to Coast to Coast trip that will be around 10,000 miles and take about 2 1/2 - 3 months. I am planing on recording all...

    Washing Your Spyder....

At home I use a bucket and soapy water, rinse well and dry of with micro-cloths then a spray and wax. On the road if they are really dirty I drive to the nearest car wash and use the pressure sprayer, just use some common sense and stay back and make sure you pull the key. They can get really...

It started out as such a nice day for a ride in Minnesota

They may have been traveling and not familiar with the weather patterns, just saying because you get caught out in bad weather when riding does not mean your stupid or not paying attention, it may be because you are trying to get to point B from A and not had a lot of options.

WOW... we were SOOOO LUCKY (not to be in BIG trouble)

I agree with Mike, thanks for sharing, the average person gets comfortable with marginal tires. Another thing is I have always bought a tandem axle trailer as I like the comfort of the extra tire on the pavement. That was a good heads up post.

    Coast to Coast trip

Thanks Deanna, I got on Google and this looks like a great ride and has plenty of camping, If we have enough time to get north to Mt. Washington we will take this route heading back west. These are the types of suggestions we are looking for as nobody knows the rides better than the Locals or...

Locking a Shoei Neo Tec2 Helmet

I like to use a cable lock as when it gets hot and we stop to walk around or eat I can run the cable through my sleeve and leave my jacket with the bike and it's safe.

    Coast to Coast trip

Sounds like a great time, we will definitely get in contact with you. We are a fan on Tree House Masters also. As a kid my friends and I built an entire fort including a elevated drawbridge fort in a grove of oak trees , we spent most of the summer building it and it consisted on 5 structures...

Not at all off topic Deanna, Mike already suggested Mt. Washington, and I considered the Rail Way but Ryding to the top sounds more fun !

    Coast to Coast trip

My wife will not get on any ship or boat as she has an inner ear condition and will get motion sick like you would not believe. Besides Chicago is a great City to visit, just would not want to live there.
