• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    two up Finally

My wife and I are both big people and have never had a problem riding two up...whether it's me or her at the controls. That being said, there IS a difference when two up but nothing negative. It just takes a little adjustment. Now, if my ankle will just heal to the point where I can ride...

I'm 65, been riding street bikes since I was 17, and went to the Spyder when I was 61. I still love riding!

    Still can't ride...

The injury to my ankle I got in December still hasn't healed enough for me to ride. No longer in the boot full time but still on crutches much of the time and my ankle simply won't let me get up in the saddle. Very frustrating. Really hoping I'll be able to ride by May, but just don't know. On...

    Affordability

Bought my '11 RT new in early 2012 and got a very good deal that included a lot of stuff that brought it almost up to LTD levels and included a 622 trailer. Paid cash and the trade in of my '07 VStar 1300T. But I'm 65 and yell at people on my lawn all the time.

    Spyder Cruise Excusion

My wife and I did a Harley tour on the island when we were there on a Royal Caribbean cruise in 2011. We were out for about 5 hours with three other bikes and had a great time. I would think the four hour rental would be about right. We're going to check this out our next cruise. FWIW we...

    Some questions, considering a Spyder

The only question I'll answer is 4. I wear almost the same gear as I did on two wheels...full face helmet, jeans, gloves, hi_viz shirt, or jacket, and gloves. I used to ride mostly cruisers and wore boots but no longer do because I can't find any that fit my mangled feet in my old age.

    New York is Trike Unfriendly

As to placement of toll passes...I"m in Florida and use Sunpass. I stick mine onto the inside of my windshield when I'm going to use toll roads and simply take it off when I'm parked. I've tried a variety of ways to use it in the frunk and haven't come up with a good one yet.

I don't name motorcycles, guitars, or other inanimate objects. Never have. Others do, though.
