• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

List of known heat reduction mods with links.

Hi all! So I've spent the last week or so going through ALL the posts I could find that offer fixes for the heat issues with our Spyders. While I saved a link here or there, I realized there was no consolidated list of all the known modifications to help people find a fix that's best for them...

    Average age of Spyder owners?

Hi all! One of the things I've been curious about is the average age of most Spyder owners. I know not a lot of younger people can't afford to own these but I don't really consider this a bad thing (the 2 wheeled sport bike scene has always seemed a bit more immature to me). So... how old are...

    This HURTS!!! Help?

That sounds like an excellent mod. Could you post pictures of that please? As for me, I believe it's the heat from the pipes next to my foot and not from the radiator vents that's causing the problem. I reached down a few times and athough there was very hot air coming out of the vent, it was...

    This HURTS!!! Help?

Going to have to throw these boots away and hide my foot from the wife because of a blister on my ankle. If she had any idea what my foot felt like when riding this thing she would have me...

    This HURTS!!! Help?

I've had my 2013 RT SE5 for a week and it's a lot of fun, but I've been struggling with the hot foot issue since day one. Today it was sunny and 85 outside and we went for a 2 hour ride. After half an hour my foot was on fire! I have worn combat boots in downtown Baghdad when it was so hot...

New Spyder owner, but a couple of problems!

Wow, thank you all very much for the replies. You guys are the best! I'll be taking into account all the input and suggestions here. I've just ordered a travel cover online and will contact the dealer today to find out if the recall was completed already. Now I'm hoping those cat shields will...

New Spyder owner, but a couple of problems!

Hi folks! I have a question regarding an issue I had today with a new 2013 RT SE5 that I bought just 4 days ago (I did search but couldn't find anything). Today in sunny Cali I parked my spyder outside for a few hours while at work and when I came back and tried to start it, the LCD screen was...
