• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I've read discussions of manual vs. semiauto. I understand the transmission is virtually the same and it's just the shifting mechanism that is different, so has anyone changed over a SM to be a SE?

    The Limited (F3-L) has an automatic rear air bag system. The F3-T air bag is a manual system thus the need for the schrader valve.

    RT to F3 Limited

    2014 RT to 2017 F3-T. For me, it's like comparing a Chevy Impala to a Chevy Corvette. F3 is so much more to my liking, lower CG helps but coming from two wheels for 40 years, the forward controls are what made it for me.

    For me/us, we got the T vs. the L because we did not want the topbox. Why? Because there is more room for umm, my well endowed wife with the BRP adjustable passenger backrest vs. the built-in backrest on the topbox.

    Did a similar thing on my 2014 RT, cut 3" in my case. I'm short and even with the shield all the way down, I was looking through it. This, as you say, allows airflow in the down position and when raised up blocks air and I could still look just over it ! Try it you might like it. Navydad did...

    Wheel size one thing but those vehicles did not come with only three lugs. A sharp tech may catch that. I told the tire shop it's for a smart car (fronts) they DO only have 3 lugs.
