• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Tupperware on 2020

It appears as though the back plastic is held in place with friction tabs. However, I'm very reluctant to grab and pull without knowing just a bit more. Moving the two plastic screw-pins on the rear fender didn't loosen anything.

    Tupperware on 2020

Thanks, it will be raining here Wednesday so I’ll try then. - How does the “surround” come off? Are you referring to the painted area of the saddlebags? - I’ve noted screw head pushpins above and along the front of the saddlebag case when it is opened, but removing those didn’t seem to...

    Tupperware on 2020

My bike trailer requires a 5-pin connector, so the BRP harness won’t work. I had a ShowChrome (Big Bike Parts) harness on my last bike and it worked perfectly, so I bought one for my RT. They don’t yet make one for the 2020 RT, but they claim the F3 harness fits perfectly. Unfortunately, it...

    BRP Connect/FOBO question

Just purchased some new FOBO sensors and they are the new FOBO 2. It appears that the newer sensors aren’t compatible with the original FOBO software, and the new FOBO software isn’t compatible with BRP Connect. Am I right? Suggestions? Does anyone know if FOBO is working on making their new...

BRP Connect/Genius question - How do I exit?

Thanks. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it will exit when I hold the joystick straight down. I looked through the menu for an “Exit” and didn’t find one, but as long as I have a means of switching apps I’m OK.

BRP Connect/Genius question - How do I exit?

Thanks for responding, it the joystick option isn’t working. It works for all of the apps EXCEPT the Genius Maps. I’ve looked again at the menu option and tried them all, and I don’t have an “Exit” button. I think I’ll uninstall and reinstall, perhaps something went south during the...

BRP Connect/Genius question - How do I exit?

I’m new to the BRP Connect system and I have an issue. I can load any of the BRP Connect apps, use them, and exit them by pressing and holding the joystick straight down. However, the Genius Maps app doesn’t exit the same way. How do I exit Genius Maps so I can load other BRP Connect apps?

    First impressions on the 2020

2nd round of observations: - They still have the rear valve stem between the wheel and sprocket, the worse possible place. - The BRP Connect is wonderful and ... takes a lot of getting used to (I know I'm late with this since they've used this for a few years now). I like not having to have...

I'll give an update after I invest some butt time. If I find the seat fatiguing, I'll put on my AirHawk cushion. If that combination fails, it will be a Russell Day Long.

    First impressions on the 2020

I picked up my bike yesterday, trading the 2014. It is a 2020 RT Limited with the front accessory light, heated seat with passenger armrests and driver's backrest, and driver backrest. Color - BRP calls it chalk, I would call it a creamy light grey. I really like, but I don't think chalk is...

    Windshield on 2020 RT

I bought an F4 vented windshield on my 2014, and had planned on letting it go when I traded my bike for a 2020. My dealer said the two windshields weren't compatible. On a different post, someone said the F4 for the 2014 would fit. I called F4 and they verified it - the two windshields have...

    2020 RT first impressions

According to my wife (who knows all things color), marsala is a bit of a tomato red, i.e. a bit orangish. For that reason, I decided not to wait for the Marsala and get the chalk white. Hope I don't regret it, because I'd love a candy-apple red.
