• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Opinion on Fox Podium 1.5 front shocks

Ive had Fox shocks on the front of my 2013 STS (not sure the same type Fox you are referring to) for 7 years 18,000 miles. I’ve had one go bad about 3 years ago, not sure why. No other problems since. I know that’s not many miles for some of you though. .

    ST Longest Ride Ever

Wow, no way. Bike gets uncomfortable usually after about 2 hours for me. But with that said...maybe it’s different on the interstate if there were less traffic. Lots of stop and go around town.

So the bike is now 7 years old and just passed 18,000 miles  Can’t believe I still love running it around town, usually get bored with things quick. Let’s see if I can make it to 10 years. :riding: (This site still needs some better smilies lol ) .

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

Those with the WickIt Stage II kit, what are they requiring to have done to the stock air box? Mine has been totally removed and I have a round air filter over the throttle body. .

    Laser Schmaser ?

I made my own laser set up also. Did my Spyder 6 years ago when I purchased the bike. I’ve been through 3-4 rear tires (obviously lol) but still on stock front tires which are wearing perfectly. With a few measurements and two cheap lasers it wasn’t hard at all. .

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

I agree, no way they are digging into the PCM. Simply flashing a tune they developed probably years ago and sending it back. It is their business though and everyone loves what they sell so good on them. Everyone has their thing. I know a few manufacturers of performance automotive items and...

Anyone having Gear Position Sensor issues on their ST?

Thank goodness it doesn’t seem like a recurring or future issue....or I’d get rid of it and move on to the next toy. Lol

Anyone having Gear Position Sensor issues on their ST?

Ok, so bike back home. Concerned me at first that the shift rod was still in place til I took a closer look. At the end towards the rear where the rod connects to a splined shaft, it was spinning on the shaft. :( I disconnected it there, cleaned it up, and aligned and reattached it. All works...

Anyone having Gear Position Sensor issues on their ST?

Thank you very much. I do plan to check linkage connection and even the paddle shifter once I get it home. When I googled the issue I came up with the sensor first so asked the question. I hope it’s just the linkage since I haven’t heard of a ST doing this and yes it is a SE5. Yes it says...
