• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DO NOT WAIT TO GET SQUARED AWAY!

Hmmmmmm I believe this speaks volumes! I would think the dealer should check the alignment before it goes to the sales floor, along with brakes, fluids, etc. Great information, thanks!

DO NOT WAIT TO GET SQUARED AWAY!

AGREED Makes me wonder how these are shipped to the dealers. Are they COMPLETELY assembled? Is this a dealer final prep issue? Or did the Can Am folks just "miss" one of the simplest pieces of a very complicated puzzle? Although this was a fairly new design concept when introdued, you would...

DO NOT WAIT TO GET SQUARED AWAY!

I just returned from having my 2010 RSS Squared Away in Las Vegas by Joe and Ann. Simply put, the "drive" there and the "RYDE" home (same route) were 2 completely different experiences! It's a case of not knowing you had a problem until it is fixed, then you realize how big your problem was. Joe...

    LED Signals

Hyper flash LED Hey guys, you will find many discussions and "fixes" for the hyper flash problem. The issue, as stated, is that Nanny is "looking" for a certain current draw for the signals. To her, too much indicates a short...too little indicates a bulb out. Either causes hyper flash to warn...

    Considering buying a 2009 GS 55 R but it's 400 miles away!

Yes you can definitely get a feel for the riding position by just sitting on the different models. Also, give MUCH consideration to the SE5 option to completely eliminate toe/shifting issues. It doesn't take away the thrill of the ride at all! I may remove my factory 1"block and install risers...

    Considering buying a 2009 GS 55 R but it's 400 miles away!

Read Carefully I believe some of the riser kits claim they will only work if you DO NOT have the 1" factory riser block installed...probably due to cable reach. I presume you are saying you removed the 1" useless block?

    Fuel Control

AJ I, too, enjoy some mild popping...shows some attitude! My C6 Vette burbles at deceleration, and it sounds pretty cool to me. If it weren't for the loud "backfire" sound, I wouldn't be concerned at all. Is this local outfit a tuner service or just a manufacturer? I might request more...

    Fuel Control

Hey Drew! I think you are correct about the OEM muffler hiding things...could take years to get anything through that cork!:p I am looking at the new Dynojet PCFC which is a FUEL Control ONLY edition of the Power Commander V. If I'm right, it uses the EXISTING O2 SENSOR in the collector pipe to...

    Fuel Control

Ahhh great reply, and very informative! I did idle it after install several times for 15 minutes. Then I rode for 20-30 minutes and it actually got worse when hotter. I then tried the baffle/silencer with no improvement When I entered a school zone, 25mph steady, it ran very erratic and popped...

    Fuel Control

Well, I changed out my OEM exhaust turd for a Yoshi R77, hoping to NOT need a fuel controller. First, I love the look and the sound, but I'm now experiencing the dreaded deceleration popping (stock intake). I don't mind some farting and gurgling, but I'm afraid the occasional backfire-like bang...

    BRP HID Installation

Just got the kit...surprisingly good directions! Looks like a straight forward install, just slow and steady, like all Spyder mods. They do appear to be high quality as you guys stated! Can't wait to get them on the road!

    BRP HID Installation

Yes it is the factory BRP HID. I was going to install an aftermarket kit through the gauge cluster opening...glad I waited for the BRP kit! It won't be so simple though, due to my stereo fairing and amps in frunk ...LOTS of removal and reassembly! I expect it to be well worth it or I wouldn't go...
