• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    OYSTER RUN '14!

I have tried to use Twitter hashtags for Spyder events in the past with limited success. I'm hoping sometime in the near future we get savvy enough to use that channel, but I don't think we are there just yet. ;)

    OYSTER RUN '14!

By my entirely crude and completely non-scientific tally, we are at 32 to 35 riders. Great job everybody!!! Keep spreading the word!!!

On Our Way to the Goal All - Just want to thank you for your response and commitment to this year's Oyster Run. As of TODAY, we are over 1/2 way to the goal of 50 Spyders (between this forum and FB). Spread the word...spread the word. :) Joe

    Anacontes Oyster Run

We will arrive at the Farmhouse Restaurant around 7:30 to 8:00 AM on the morning of the Oyster Run (9/28). The actual event is just a couple of miles away...that way we can all ryde in together. :) We had just over 30 Spyders last year and darn near took over a whole block. My goal this year...

    Anacontes Oyster Run

Just added my post today. If you are coming from the 'dry' side of the state, you could meet up with us at the Farmhouse Restaurant just outside of town and we can ryde in as a group. No doubt, THIS IS A BIG DEAL...there are about 20,000 to 30,000 rides of all shapes and sizes that come in...

    OYSTER RUN '14!

It's time to start thinking about the OYSTER RUN, the largest motorcycle event in Western Washington. The goal this year is 50 Spyders...Yes, it's a stretch - and there are no 'strings' -I just think that there are enough of us around now that WE CAN DO IT. Our route will be the same as last...

Polaris is Getting in the Game - SLINGSHOT

Got this in my inbox. Polaris is announcing a more car-like three-wheeler called the "Slingshot." Nothing on the specks, but the fraction of a second images make it seem more car-like. http://www.polaris.com/en-us/slingshot Will be interesting for sure...

Photos from Spring Meet 'n' Eat

My "rain dance" paid off. We had a great day and a great ryde to Roslyn, WA. A very cool and historic town. Thanks to all that participated in this event. We had 11 Spyders and 14 Ryders - a very good turnout given the weather forecast. My take-backs from this experience (except for the...

Where's the Spring Meet 'n' Eat?

Weather Although this weekend's weather will be no comparison to what we are having today, the forecast for Saturday is now showing a 30% chance of showers. So it's not likely that we will see any precipitation - but bring the rain gear "just in case."

Where's the Spring Meet 'n' Eat?

By my highly speculative, non-scientific estimate, we are looking at MORE THAN 20 Spyders in this event! Spread the word so we can get that number to 30!

Where's the Spring Meet 'n' Eat?

UPDATE I've secured our dining location. We will have lunch at The Brick Saloon, the oldest operating pub/restaurant in the state. It's been in business since 1889 and even has an operating floor-length spittoon, and a jail downstairs - so NO FUNNY BUSINESS. :P Working on some other...

Where's the Spring Meet 'n' Eat?

For the past 3 years, the Spyder Owners in the Pacific Northwest have had a Meet 'n' Eat in April as a kick-off to the ryding season. If you've been wondering about what we'll be doing this year, I have the answer here. This year I am planning our Meet 'n' Eat ryde to head East and over the...
