• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Sqeaky brahes My cure has been to get some high pressure pipe gasket material ( from a pipe fitter buddy) and cut a piece to fit between pad and piston in caliper. Works on everything I put it on..............

    Engine Noise 1330

    I have read where some have also had scraping, rattles and folks would answer check the front pulley. What to look for ? loose on the output shaft ? or other demons. I have had a knock I can hear at cruising speed plus the the rattle at low speed since new. The dealers? " they all do that"...

    I see by the workshop manual that there is a center frame.Is this the only place to jack up the machine ? or are there other points that are safe. Installing baharon sway bar and need some altitude..........

    manxman Actually we have raced Nortons for man years, and of course the Manx Norton was many times victer at the Isle. My son Bob raced there a couple of years ago, stepped off at one of the famous turns and spent a few days there. ( bike went in to false neutral at the ton mile.....

    Oil to use in 1330 eng.

    I have used Shell Rotella 15-40 in my machines for years with very good results. It is not syn. I notice BRP wants to use semi-sun. and not full syn. any reason for that ? What is the preferred oil on this list...........

    Engine noise 1330

    I have a 2014 SE6. The engine seems to be very loud, at times it is louder then the exaust. Lots of clank and clunk and slack in drive train, is this normal? and shifting into first or reverse is severe...............
