• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the difference between F3 Ltd & F3-T? Anyone switched fm RT?

You sit in the F3 and on the RT … true. The F3 pegs/boards can be adjusted for rider comfort and the RT is fixed … and you can add highway pegs to both. Both were comfy for me but I am a foot shorter than you and don’t know how each would fit you for comfort. Also it makes a difference if you...

Any model/year Spyders you would avoid buying?

I have owned 3 different Spyders … and probably would never own a Ryker. I had my 2016 F3L from new until January 2023 … and it was a fun machine and a joy to ride.

What's the difference between F3 Ltd & F3-T? Anyone switched fm RT?

I switched from 2016 F3L to 2020 RTL this year - loving it. We also have a 2014 RTS which I don’t like riding at all.

Front storage USB port not charging quickly enough - any ideas?

I added the dual USB charging port like in post #4 … it charges fast and works great for me. I do not use any BRP apps and use my phone for navigation and music when riding.

    Backrest - BRP or Showchrome for a 2020 RT-L?

+1 for Utopia although not in your 2 listed. I owned the BRP backrest for my F3L and it was OK but I ran out of adjustment options. I owned a Show Chrome for the 2014 RTS we have and it is not comfy to me. The Utopia is super comfy for me and even priced less than BRPs. It is a few dollars...

Is there an Acc mode to play radio when 2020+ Models are shut down?

That video, was posted 8 years ago … way before the new dash and is not a solution. The OP already mentioned he used the video method on his old Spyder .:banghead:

Dealer saying rear lid shock replacmt not covered by warranty - thoughts?

My fault ... I read a thread that mentioned having a trunk rack and thought it was from the OP. In that case if you are still under the 2 year warranty it should be covered. Have you contacted BRP ... if not maybe you should.

Dealer saying rear lid shock replacmt not covered by warranty - thoughts?

What do you suppose is keeping it up? The strut is only visible on my 2020 RTL by removing the passenger back rest ... you cannot see it from inside the trunk.

Congrats on the new … I think you will be happy with the new model.

2021 RTL- Where's the factory toolkit location??....

My 2020 RTL is in a pocket on the frunk liner. I felt it last week when I was looking for something else.

Dealer saying rear lid shock replacmt not covered by warranty - thoughts?

I think the squeak is on you … my 2016 F3L squeaked and so does my 2020 RTL and the brakes worked fine. The lid strut is also since you modded it … unfortunate but as many that failed without extra weight who could be surprised about failure with additional weight.

Want to get new front tires, not sure what to get? 2021 RTL

Careful now with all those miles … you will exceed the 2500 you racked up in the last 2+ years on your old tires. :roflblack:

Want to get new front tires, not sure what to get? 2021 RTL

So is pulling to the right the tires or alignment? Mine is pulling to the right when I brake and I assumed alignment and have an appointment in a couple of days for an alignment. Riding on the highway with hands off the handlebars it drifts slowly to the right.

Is there a lower foot peg for the passenger foot peg assembly for F3L

+1 for the third peg … that was one of the first mods I did on my 2016 F3L

Anyone else had Tricled sequential fender turn signal failures?

I went with the show chrome fender lights because there have been many issues posted here about Tric product failures.

Do you think a Spyder is for me? Need some advice from the Spyder Pros

Enjoy your choices … but ask yourself if you plan any long trips for the Ryker. IMO it will take a lot to get the Ryker touring comfy … as opposed to the RT which is touring ready by design.

Can-Am Models Should be Required to Have an New Owners Warning!

Add to the label: Ride more, worry less. Don't create a garage queen! I see a lot of Spyders for sale on FB - low to no miles and plenty of accessories. It is not uncommon to see a 10 year old Spyder with 5k miles or less with many upgrades - asking way too much because they say it is like new.

Any ideas on what this Noise on my 2022 RT-L might be?

Fix = ride more, worry less

Anyone had any Radio Interference? What fixed it?

I listen to radio stations all the time but stream them via iHeart radio or the station app. I live in Indiana but my favorite station is in Detroit and I can listen to it from coast to coast. My RTL radio does work though but I don’t use it. I listen to the radio and navigation instructions...

I have spotted a 2020 RT LTD that might suit me - what do you think?

The photos you have are of the new body style - 2020+ RTL. We have a 2014 RTS which I am not fond of but my BF likes it well enough to keep for himself. I sold my 2016 F3L a couple of months ago because I purchased a new to me 2020 RTL. It takes some getting used to the different riding style...
