• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RT Fog Light Switch

Thanks RICZ for the reply. That was my intention but I can't get to the guts when it's in the dash panel. I can blindly spray under the front and back of the paddle but I don't think I'm getting into the switch mechanism. I have been working the toggle back and forth but it makes a snappy...

    RT Fog Light Switch

I have a 2016 RT-S. The fog light switch is very stiff to toggle after winter storage. How easy is it to remove the switch for maintenance or replacement? Can it be easily popped out of the panel? What is the best procedure to accomplish it with minimal damage? Thanks. Dave

    Seat removal........

I second pctjam. I stuff a rag into the area between the rear bolts behind the seat, it's black hole for parts. The twist wrench is great. Take off the passenger pad for space to work. I put some grease on the tubes before inserting them in the seat to stop them from sliding out on install...

Replacing dash gauge - what do I need?

I bought 2 52mm blanks from an online store, forgot the name. They are more than just face plates.Check out marine suppliers. In my case, I drilled out a 1" hole to mount the USB unit and I also replaced the other gauge with a 12v outlet. I used the factory plugs for power and just inserted...

    full figured person

I don't know about full figured but I'm a hefty guy. I have an RT and the stock seat has worked for me. You could also change to the comfort seat which I think moves you back about 1.5 inches but cuts into the passenger space. I couldn't go that route since my passenger IS full figured. Dave

bead seat or padded seat for RT

I tried the beaded seat pad and felt I was going to slide off the trike on a sharp turn, It is a good product but not for me I guess. Maybe the wooden beads are better than the plastic ones I went with an Airhawk inside a sheepskin cover I had. Works great for me on long trips. I can vary the...

First road trip on our new Spyder.

Congratulations. It's so nice to just go for it. We finally got to take our RT for a spin from Ohio to New England a few months ago. We did 1780 miles in a week and no rain. Now they are calling for some snow soon and it's in the 40s or colder. Enjoy, Dave

    OT: Cutting the Cable?

I dropped able TV and bought a Fire Stick. With it you can subscribe to Hulu or DirectTV Now or SlingTV or CBS AllAccess, etc. to get the main channels and Sports. I have many channels including History or NatGeo as well as ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, etc. Even with all these subscriptions I saved...

    Corbin Seat

It's not too difficult. There are instructions online and also some came with the seat. Take the old one off, laid them side-by-side and swapped parts with the new. Three pieces of advice: 1. After removing the passenger backrest, stuff a rag behind the seat to save parts from disappearing...
