• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Cares, please comment on the new line up.

I own a 2013 ST-S SE5! I love this machine, especially after I had a BajaRon sway bay and billet links installed! I test rode a F3S on a Demo Day, I did not like the foot positioning, way too far forward for my liking, yes it was actually in the correct position for my height. I butt tested the...

Hi new guy here with some questions

I have minor back problems, nothing like yours, and I also have leg problems. I have a '13 ST-S SE5 (semi-auto tranny), which is pretty much the same machine as the RS except the leg/foot position is different. The knee bend on the ST is near 90°, the RS is more Sport Bike like. The Semi-auto...

New 2013 (to us) ST-S and a couple questions.

Jim, As for air pressure, I use 28 psi in the rear tire and 20 psi in the front tires. Handles better for me, fronts had 17 psi when I first got it, felt a bit squirrely, bump to 20 psi fixed it.

    Wheels rollers...

Sounds like a great idea! I figure you are thinking about the cradle type with 4 dolly wheels on each. Obviously you would need 3, and it should make moving the Spyder around very easy. Good luck. Let us know how it works for you!!

Is a Spyder considered a Motorcycle?

Can AM says it is a "Roadster." In TN it is registered as a motorcycle, insured as a motorcycle, and drivers license has to have motorcycle certification.:yes::yes::yes: Let's ride!!!

    Rear Shock

The 2014 ST models have adjustable front shocks (FOX Podium) I am not sure about the rear being adjustable. Try to reduce the preload tension on the front shocks to see if that may help. It should soften the spring action some. I'm sure someone here will have an idea to help releave your pain.

    2013 Spyder ST

Base ST does not have electronic cruise control, the ST-S and the ST-LTD have it. ST-S SE5 has standard rider and passenger floorboards as does the ST-LTD.

    RPM

Mine varies between 1350 & 1400 RPM. I try to keep the RPM above 4,000 so I don't lug the engine. Sometimes in traffic that is not possible.

    Unseen Disability's

2 hip replacements, 2 knees that need replacing, plus more crap from growing old gracefully. Riding my Spyder is the only thing I do where I have no pain while riding. I used to stare at folks that park in the HC spaces and watch them walking away and think, why do they have a permit. I have...

New 2013 (to us) ST-S and a couple questions.

Jim, If in 1st gear and you want Neutral, foot on brake, lightly tap the (-) tab and it should shift to neutral. For reverse, foot on brake thumb on the R button and lightly tap the (-) tab and with a resounding clunk, you have reverse. Billy's tip on the lock should do the trick. I left a...
