• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Oil cover tupperware blowing off

Beats me, I had shark leaders attached to it. Pulled the crimp fitting off is the only thing I can think of. Saw it as it hit my leg but at 75 mph I wasn't quick enough to try and grab it. Got the panel back. Going to use it to experiment with fastening methods.

    Oil cover tupperware blowing off

I had the cover blow off the left side some months back, replaced the rubber grommets, put shrink tube on the pins, installed stainless steel lanyards on both sides. I'll be damned if the right side didn't blow off yesterday on I-95. Has anyone come up with a fix for this? Screws or better yet...

    Lost LH Lateral side panel.

I was the last guy to have the oil tank cover panel off. The only thing I can think of is I didn't get one of the buttons snapped in. I check my oil regularly and wasn't in any particular hurry but ... crying over it won't get it fixed. I'm just looking for a good place to get the replacement...

    Lost LH Lateral side panel.

Can say where or when other than on today's ride with Capt Bill. Got down to a friends house, got off and it was gone. The question is where is the best place to get a replacement. Cheap Cycle parts has the part at $174 but I've not dealt with them. Good folks or is there a better place to look...

    My MPG went up

From the fuel truck driver Another note..... phase separation is an issue with all ethanol gas. It's supposed to be checked by the delivery driver before he drops fuel into the tank but drivers get in a hurry and don't always take the time. Knowing what I know I try to always buy fuel at a busy...

    My MPG went up

I just retired from hauling gas in the NE Florida/SE Georgia the past 10 years. Brand doesn't make much difference. Here in Jacksonville a ship will pull into one distribution terminal and unload then move up the river and deliver to another terminal. We only have one name brand distributor here...

Cooling issues recall on 2013 Rt's

Recall completed Jacksonville Pwr Sports completed the recall this afternoon. Don't know what happens with the other dealer that turned the recall in as complete. That's between BRP and them. Jax dealer didn't have any issues with BRP, BRP told them if the recall wasn't done to complete it...

Cooling issues recall on 2013 Rt's

Dealer info on cooling recall Central Florida Power Sports in Orlando is the dealer that charged off the recall. Could have been they mistakenly entered the wrong VIN. No way to tell but it kept me from finding out about an important recall on my bike. It's a BRP to dealer issue now. I'm just...

Cooling issues recall on 2013 Rt's

I see that the recall issue on the 13's has been discussed quite a bit here. I came across an issue that hasn't. I bought mine used in Sept. last year. Ran the VIN and it didn't show any outstanding recalls. Fine.... Got to talking with Doc from Folkston about moving the GPS and he asked about...

Help Moving the Garmen Zumo to the dash on my 13 RT

Looking for someone either in SE Georgia or NE Florida to help me move the Garmin to the dash. I'm pretty good with mechanical stuff but wiring is not my thing. I don't use the Garmin much but as other folks here have seen the factory location is the pits. Takes your eyes off the road and the...
