• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Bump Skid installation disaster

skid plate No panels need to be removed on the F3. All but two of the holes are drilled through the plastic nose piece. The two most rearward holes have to be drilled into the frame. This frame is light gage steel. As the instructions say, you must remove the two bolts shown and use the kits...

    Bump Skid installation disaster

Just nicked the bottom of one tube. Radiator shop will have it fixed Monday for $36. Doesn't matter how long you've been doing this sort of thing Murphy is always waiting in the weeds.

    Bump Skid installation disaster

Nothing wrong with Spyderpops bump skid...... Went to install the skid this morning on my new F3T. Went to drill the first hole on the right side and must have had two things go wrong. 1. I think my 1/4" bit was dull and 2. Even using a right hand drill I had the bit cocked just enough to punch...

    OEM driver floorboards wanted

I just installed a set of Lamonster's RIP boards on my new 16 F3T. Well worth the extra money. Makes it easy to get on and off and because they are longer they give you much more room to move your feet around. Just my Two Cents. Pat

    The search is almost over....

Hold out for the 14 or newer. I just traded my 13 RTL for a 16 F3T. Put over 30k miles in a year and a half on the RT but the 1330 engine is the "Cat's Meow" Pat

Non switched 12 v outlet for battery tender

Battery tender I just installed the Lamont's power plate for my phone but my battery tender is direct wired to the battery. Mine has a cap to keep it clean. Tie wrapped it to the "A" arm. "Works fine, will last a long time"

    F3 Farkles

Frame caps.... Last week when I picked up my new F3T there was an EX Marine there that had Corps emblem frame caps. I asked where he got them and he said online but we were both busy so I didn't get specifics on where. Anyone have a clue where? I need NAVY. I've googled it, looked on Amazon and...

    kfc colonel

KFC Down here in SE Georgia I've given up on them. I go to the Winn Dixie grocery store and get a whole fried chicken (a good whole fried chicken) for $6.00. Or go to Popeye's. Still hard to top KFC's cole slaw though. Pat

    Spyder longivity

Thanks, Good to hear because I love the bike and can see many many more miles I want to ride. Being 63 and not having a life time of bike experience I have a good idea of how long I can expect from my pickup truck but not a a bike.

    Spyder longivity

Just curious.... how long should these bikes last? Mileage wise. I bought my 13 RT last Oct with 15k on her, have 36k now. I live in the South and am semi-retired so I ride a lot. Wonder if I'll wear it out before I pay it off :D What's the highest mileage any of you have on yours? Pat

    Battery life???

Yep, dealer installed factory battery. Doc says to make them check it out since it's less than a year old. He told me even a stock battery should last at last at least 3 years. We'll see. Pat

    Battery life???

How much battery life is normal on an RT? I just replaced the battery on mine in Jan. or Feb. Gets ridden almost every day. Have probably put 15 to 16k on it since. Now the battery is feeling is so weak that I had to put a charger on it yesterday. Had just ridden the day before for at least an...

    My MPG went up

After 15k miles down here in Southeast Georgia running mostly regular gas in my 13 RTL I developed a ping. Put premium in it today for a 200+ mile ride and the ping went away almost instantly. Pat

    590 Garmin replacement

Sorry for your loss man. They can be bought on Amazon and Ebay but you're going to pay $500+ for it. The rare times I use mine I take it off and lock it up. Same with my cell. The world just doesn't lack for low life a**holes and thiefs. Pat

BRP Spyder & Polaris SlingShot / Side by Side - Mike Mas

I sat in a Slingshot in Savannah, would love to test drive one. No doubt it's cool and if I had the bucks for another toy I'd buy one in a New York minute. But no matter how you slice it..... it's a three wheel car without the storage space of my RTL for touring. Pat

Yes the hook was engaged and I had a lanyard wire on after losing the left side. The right side hadn't been removed in months since Doc and I re-did some poor wiring the previous owner had had done. Several thousand miles have been put on the bike since then. I don't ride the Interstates often...
