• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 LTD Top Case

I had the top box added to my 16 F3T when I bought. Last month I rode the Dragon, The Cherehola Skyway and bunch of twisty roads in North Georgia, NC, and Tenn. bike rode like a dream, had to slow down so I didn't run over the 2 wheel cruisers and I don't think I ride hard. Really liked my RTL...

    Low left side panel

Dzus fittings are the answer Had it happen on both sides of my 13 RTL. First time I completely lost the left panel. Could have been me not securing the panel when I checked the oil. The second time after putting stainless steel lanyards on the right panel came off. An Aussie linked me to these...

    What Gauge Wire Is Needed

Mine was wrapped down and toward the front, almost back under the front seat. Has a boot covering the two female wire connectors. Need to unhook, un tie wrap the cable to make it stretch out long enough to connect to the USB plug. Hard to see which is + and which is - on the USB. I went ahead...

    F3 frunk release

I don't know what to search for so I'll just ask. One of my very few pet peaves with my F3T is the Frunk. Having to turn the key and reach around to open the danged thing at the same time is a PITA. Has anyone come up with something to fix this. My RTL had a spring so it popped open. Small...

How old is too old to get started riding a Spyder

Never too old. I hadn't ridden since H.S. and then not a lot. Got my first RT at 62. 2015 put 35k on it and traded for a new 16 F3T. Don't get old, I'm not sure if I ever want to be mature :) Go for it.. Pat

The reason I chose a spyder

Just a matter of choice I had a 13RTL SE5. Put a ton of miles on it before trading for the 16 F3T SM6. Honestly would have preferred the SE6 but got such a good deal on the manual I couldn't pass on it. After 2000 miles it's second nature with the manual. Almost always downshifted with the SE5...

I can't be the only one......

Had the same problem on my new F3T Same issue on my new bike. Getting the front two screws to align seems a lot harder than it should be. Even being careful it's a PITA. I'll figure something out. The right panel has to come off semi-regular to change the oil which I'll do myself. Watching to...

    Bump Skid installation disaster

You must drill the furthest rearward two hole into the frame. It's not the main frame, it's some kind a of light gage steel cross-member. No big deal. Pat

    Bump Skid installation disaster

Clips Putting the clips on wasn't a problem. There is enough flex on the plastic that they just slide on. Use a phillips screw driver or a punch to align them with the holes. Put the skid up with the same two long bolts you used in the begining and start all the screws before you tighten any...
