• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Unknown Rocker Switch Terminal Connector

I have an empty rocker switch slot with a hole plug. The hole plug has a terminal connector plugged into it. I want to know what it is for and if I can use it and for what? I asked the dealer's service shop and emailed them pics, but so far I have not received an answer. So, I had to remove...

    RT Dash Mount

I love this and wish BRP would've used a similar setup on other Spyder models. I have a 2014 ST-S SE5. Any chance anyone knows if there is a solid dash mount setup for an ST-S?

    Meet and Rides?

CJ.RamMan - Ok, so I feel a bit better. I joined a few last night and they approved me. So, I'll be doing the whole virtual socializing thing...a bit new so-to-say, but I'm a big boy...I can do it. I'm a bit old school even at my age...drives my daughter crazy. :doorag: ARtraveler - I'm...

    Meet and Rides?

Well, this is why Bill Engvall came out with that here's your sign mess and wanting to use the end tip of a fishing pole to smack someone on the back of the neck when needed. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll look more into the events. And, I'll keep checking back to see if anyone posts...

    Meet and Rides?

Threads on here seem quiet lately. Are there any meet and rides or something like those in or near Columbia, MO? I'm back and able to ride again, and I'm up for meeting riders and ryders. I've seem to have lost all of what few contacts I had left. And, the MeetUp site does not seem to have...

Adjustable Windshield Buffetting / Bouncing Dash and GPS

@Jeriatric, hey there. I probably should have given more history of the bike than myself. :) Sorry about that. The tires are in pretty good running order with no flat spots, etc.. I have been taking care of maintenance items during these non-riding years fairly well. I have only needed to...

Adjustable Windshield Buffetting / Bouncing Dash and GPS

I Google'd a lot and also searched here and read some other posts about the adjustable windshields moving down by themselves due to buffetting / bouncing / flapping more than they should. However those topics are really old, and my issue also includes the dash bouncing a lot making it hard to...

what have you done to your ST for safety

Great post. I really want to be more noticeable and safe as well. Thus far, I have: -- replaced all but 2 reflectors (rear left/right frame) with LED's including the one above the license plate -- replaced headlight bulbs with LED's -- replaced stock windshield with a larger one from CalSci...

    GPS Mounting Ideas Needed '14 ST-S SE5

A friend pointed out some things I did not take into consideration when trying to mount to the dash. I wish it was as easy as drilling and bolting. So, we began and took off part of the dash, windshield, left mirror, etc. since I'm already working on an upgrade. I am also in the process of...

    GPS Mounting Ideas Needed '14 ST-S SE5

Hey ya'll...needing some input for mounting my Garmin Zumo 595LM GPS on my 2014 ST-S SE5. It also needs to be placed in such a manner I can run/hide the wires. I know the simplest place is on the handle bars or in the center of them...but, I'm complicated and don't want to look down when...

Simple RAM Mount for the RT

@Lew L I really appreciate you hollering at me. That is such a cool add-on...however, I have a ST SE5 and the dash does not have the inserts nor the room. I guess I could mount it on the lip/edge, but I'm afraid the weight would pull down after a while...plus it'd be hard to get bolts on the...

    PM's?

Duh, yeah...possible. Is there a way to tell if someone does not accept PM's from someone he/she does not know? I do not want to over step anyone's privacy. I was going to send an PM to someone who mounted a ram mount on his dash, and I had questions. But, the post was from 2015 and I wasn't...

    PM's?

I have not visited spyderlovers in a long time due to personal reasons, and thankfully my account is still active. It seems there have been some updates to the forums. So, my question might be just :gaah: However, I cannot send PM's and I cannot even send a message via the Contact Us page...

Simple RAM Mount for the RT

@sonicsix Hey...I wanted to send a PM because I am not sure you would get this since the post is so old... However, I like your dash ram mount. I am picking up my Garmin tomorrow, and like you I do not want to look down at it. Did you take out the dash? And, did you use bolts and nuts or...
