• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ryker Rally CVT Noise

I can tell you this, mine has the same driveline lash as a BRP ATV or side by side. It clunks a little when first accellerating or decerating. It is especially noteable from a stop

    Ryker passenger seat ?

They have beenon everyones back orders for a while now. I think it is simply a supply/demand issue.

    Seat. Need to vent....

Jason a solution could be as simple as a sheepskin cover over it or one of the many gel pads available online to, again go over your stock seat.

    Ryker Protective Steel Grill

It's so funny you said that! On my ride last weekend there were no less than 4 dead skunks on the Stonewall Jackson Highway in Virginia. I was thinking, what the heck...?

    RYKER MPG

Look at my post big 1st day. I had 2 fuel runs on it, although my machine still has less than 1000 miles on it

Congratulations on your new Ryker! I see you are a northeasterner as well. We need winter to end!

    Ryker Accessories

The Zus wireless camera system and the Apollo heated grips can both be bought from Ebay by searching for the items using their names. Same thing with the fuel can, if you want one. I did a complete breakdown of the toolkit with sources if you find that post. The LED headlights can be bought...

    Ryker Accessories

One comment on the exhaust. This bike is louder to the rider than any of the Spyders. I am not sure if it is the exhaust exit to rider closeness or the higher engine RPM range, but it is louder, especially from 20-50 mph. I am not usre I could stand a loud exhaust on it, but that's just me!

    Ryker Accessories

The windshield is/was the only must have for me. Wind pressure causes fatigue over time, and it does a fine job of taking it off of my upper body. On mine, I have the windshield, rear seat and backrest, rear saddle bag, hand guard lights and extensions (its pretty cold here) all OEM...

1st big day (350 miles) , mpg, etc

Stock seat. I had a saddleman tour pack sitting on the rear seat that acted like a back rest for me. It was comfy!

1st big day (350 miles) , mpg, etc

The bike has exceeded my expectations. One benefit of being a dealership owner is I have been able to take advantage of the demonstrator program. Every year, I get to ride the newest, latest, greatest whatever. So, I have thousands of miles on every Spyder model made, and i have formed what...

    Glove Box Heat.

I didn't notice glove box heat but its so darn cold here it couldn't heat up! An easy fix would be to pop out that front trunk (I think 4 push pins and 2 torx screws) and attach a thinsulate heat pad (from Lowes or Home Depot) between it and the engine. There already is somewhat of one there...

1st big day (350 miles) , mpg, etc

Not too worried about damaging the fuel pump. When they come from the factory, many don't have enough fuel to run, so the pumps are empty, and they run electric cycle tests on them prior to shipping. Since 2009, I don't think I have ever sold a fuel pump.

1st big day (350 miles) , mpg, etc

Great point. It was filled with PA winter grade 87 when I left, and I can't imagine the 90 octane ethanol free was anything but good stuff. I was actually pretty excited to find it at this little bitty gas station in Natural Bridge, VA so I really didn't think it thru!

1st big day (350 miles) , mpg, etc

ok, so I trailered to Virginia, rode for 358 miles in one day and here is what I learned. (ok 358 miles isn't huge but it was COLD FOR GODS SAKE!) First, 28 degrees is pretty damn cold to start off a ride. I was dressed for it, and my heated grips were a godsend, but it was still cold...

How old is to old to ryde a Spyder or a Ryker?

Our oldest Spyder customer is 93 years young and going strong!

    Hand brake.

I also would love a hand brake but I think it would be a very difficult proposition on the Ryker unless it actually integrated directly into the hydraulic line on/near the master cylinder. The ISCI setup which I have installed on the RT/St/RS/F3's actually piggybacks over the stock setup...
