• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do I do this - brackets

Today i had a look at the air deflectors on my RT.[ just got it back from the dealer ] First i would purchase a piece of solid round aluminium approx. 20mm diameter & say 200mm long in case of any hiccups. Cut 4 pieces long enough to use as spacers where the AD's bolt on. Drill a 6mm hole in...

Finally after 5 + weeks in the dealers workshop, I picked up my RT today & rode it home. Took the long way & it performed as expected, ie; no problems. Had a good chat to the service manager & tech before leaving. I know they did their very best to sort out the problem. BRP's involvement...

How do I do this - brackets

I'd have a look at the air deflectors cptjam mentioned, but remove the deflectors & use the 2 mounting bolts to hold your light bracket as close to the body work as possible. This way, the bracket & light may work very well at deflecting the air. Kill 2 birds.....Aluminium is the way to go. Good...

Hello Frank, Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to purchase a 50mm s/steel bend and see what that looks like. I'll probably go down the ceramic coating road as well. I'm located in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. If you are ever coming up this way let me know......Treva

    under AUD$100.00 exhaust

Thanks Airborne, I had no heat at time I made the flare. One of our sons had borrowed my oxy/acetylene kit. Way easier if one uses heat and your mates will know this if they know their stuff. Quite easy. The hardest part is knowing how long to make the pipe with the flare which attaches to the...

    under AUD$100.00 exhaust

Being fairly noise conscious, I removed the cat eliminator pipe which was coupled to the standard muffler [F3-S] after a couple of early morning rides as I didn't want to upset the neighbours, even though there is some distance between us [rural]. Unhappy with the OEM set up noisewise, I decided...

The bike has been at the dealer for 3 weeks now. They found some anomalies, informed BRP, who diagnosed a VCM problem. I was informed by the dealer on 5/14/19, that the part was being air freighted. I called the dealer today, & was shocked to hear the part is at least another 2 weeks away. Air...
