• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone left a Roadsmith for a Spyder RT?

David, aftermarket "Goodies" are available for anything from cars, motorcycles, ATV's or anything else you want to check out. I am on my second Spyder after years of two wheelers. Still have 6 in my garage. I put thousands of miles on the first one without adding anything to it. You may find...

need wiring help on 622 trailer

Grounding concern Thanks for the replies. I got my meter and checked the wiring. Did determine the 4 wires to use. trailer lights are now working with the Spyder. Should another ground be installed on the trailer? I have heard where static can cause a problem. If an extra ground is needed where...

Excited about my "new" Spyder 2014 RT and have questions

That could be part of the problem with the bumping that you feel directly under the seat. With the air pumped up it will raise the Spyder a good bit. And welcome to the forum.

need wiring help on 622 trailer

Yep! I've looked through the post on the RT threads for adapting the wiring of a 2010 trailer to a '14 or '15 RTS. I bought the module and wiring harness kit and installed it. Not too bad once the Tupperware was out of the way. Just a plug and play kit. So now I am trying to get the trailer...

Any way to bypass startup screen?

As others have said, I simply turn the key on and proceed to get my helmet on and usually the spyder is ready before I am. 15,20 or 30 seconds, not a big deal for the boot up of the systems.

    Bad Boy 419

I used a relay with mine. I can just imagine my horn button getting fried or something so I installed the relay and I don't have to worry about it. It is not about the capacity of the charging system, it is the current that the horn button and wiring can handle by design.

State wide meet and greet in Boone, N.C.

I'm not far from Boone. Where will this be at? It is a wonderful area for riding and sight seeing (including the Blue Ridge Parkway). I ride in that area very often.

AUDIBLE "BEEP" FOR SIGNAL LIGHTS ??

I have installed auxiliary signal lights on mine as the beeping is not my favorite thing. Look on the RT touring page of the forum on the 2nd page I think for the thread "hidden turn signals". It provides a very noticeable reminder that the blinker is still on.

    F3s tires! JUNK!

    what should I pay?

Yep, I agree. that dealer is trying to take you for a ride. 26,649 is the MSRP of the 2015 . The below pic is from the BRP web site. The RT S special edition goes for msrp of about 28,9oo or so. The RT L (limited) is 30,000 I would certainly call around and you WILL get a better price. I...

    hidden turn signal lights

Here are some more pictures on the install of the signal lights. The second pic has the light strip mounted. (sorry that one got sideways, don't know why). Jimnsusie, I don't have the box they came in. It may be the 6 inch strips. Two came in the pack and the cost was about 16.00 dollars. I...

    hidden turn signal lights

Thanks for the comments. The speaker grills come out very easily. They just pop in and out. You will see that the speakers are situated to inboard side behind the grills leaving flat space to stick the lights on without interfering with the speakers. I will follow up with some more pics.

I like them. Are you using the front ones on the mirrors for emergency strobes or extra running lights?

    Installed Bad Boy Air Horn

Mine is like a train horn. It is really loud. Seriously, I can tell someone to push the horn button and they bout jump out of their shoes:shocked:. It is the same bad boy horn I think. maybe they have different Db level horns. I also wired it through a relay.
