• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Earplugs, G4s and Bad Sound (long)

You might want to read the specs on some different ear plugs. The foam tends to block some freq ranges much more than others. I had a set of musicion (I cant spell today) ear plugs that have a very flat response. I got them through an ear doc (read expensive) I think your best bet is going to...

    Thoughts on ACCESSORIES

My mod process has always been function based. It has to do something I think needs done. Comfort, performance, or safety must at least be percieved. As an example: I would love to have a hand brake (since someone else mentioned it) and ISCI makes some of the most over built products I have...

Think There Will Ever Be A.....

The alternator would be a great addition and I agree with just loosing the analog speedo. I would like to see a compass on the dash (Just one like in the mirrors with 8 directions) Although it is kind of fun when someone asks me how fast it goes, I just point to the speedo and watch the look...

    Aftermarket Cooling fan options

At least with that fan you would know exactly why it was not running right {or at all}(dead battery!) I picked the Mr Gasket one. It is 950cfm and draws 8 amps. I am gonna wire it with a switch and through the temp control as well. I will have the stock fan control fire a relay and a switch...

Starting the research: It's a 10 inch fan I found this one that pulls 950CFM at 8.3 amps http://www.jegs.com/i/Mr.+Gasket/720/1985/10002/-1 Then I found this one that pulls 1200cfm at 6.3 amps http://www.kmjent.com/cart/product.php?productid=426

    Aftermarket Cooling fan options

I put 2000 miles on the Spyder last week at SITS and had some observations about engine temp. I rode home on Sunday in the rain and was at 2-3 bars all day and the Spyder ran the best it ever did. At 4 bars it starts to miss and stutter at very low RPM and like leaving a stop light. At 5-6 bars...

    Just a quickie

I came back 441 on Sunday. Changed my plans due to the weather. I left Gatlinburg at 9:30am, rode in rain off and on all day and was in Gainesville FL at 8:30pm I stopped for dinner and checked the radar. Tampa was under a big storm so I decided to pack it in for the night. (only 3 hours from...
