• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Learn from my mistake

I had ISO pegs on my first harley (17 years ago) ..I feel like they were adjustable so you could "set" them at an angle (since they werent round) and then YOU had to tighten them. I would agree that maybe a little blue locktite included with the pegs would be a nice touch.

    "MISSING AIR DAM" UPDATE

Installed mine this morning took me 10 minutes tops and fit like a glove. Ill report back on riding with it when I get some miles on it. Once it was on like a lot of folks I thought "surely someone at BRP should have thought of this." It only makes sense to me.

    Down shifting from a stop

Funny that I never noticed it on any of my harleys but then again maybe I just notice it more on the Spyder or something but the neutral explanation makes perfect sense and I should have known it since... I actually KNEW this.. Thanks!

    Down shifting from a stop

I guess I was just making sure it was normal. I already figured out that releasing the clutch a little aids in the downshifting. Just looking for verification that it is common. Ride on....

    Down shifting from a stop

yes exactly the "problem". Like I said usually I only do this when I have to come to a sudden stop or just simply forget to downshift for some reason. Its mostly an annoyance but the people behind me occassionally get upset :2thumbs:. None of the bikes I ever owned had this issue that I remember...

    Down shifting from a stop

Okay so I know there have been problems with the GPS before but I have a specific instance I find unusual. If I have to suddenly slow down say from 65 to 20 and do not down shift it takes FOREVER for me to get the bike to down shift. I have a SM so I don’t understand why it would do this. I...

Thinking about buying a Spyder -- Questions --

I have had mine for almost 7 months and 5000 miles. I rode harleys for 16 years before buying the spyder. It is not without its issues and it is different than a two wheeler but without a doubt it is the funnest thing I ever owned. Biggest drawbacks for me are thin dealership network and even...

Authenticity Check on my '09' Phantom
