• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    18000 sounds like a lot. I got mine last aug for 14,500. I would think if you could find one still 14,500 would still be a pretty good deal. If not you can get the phantom kit but of course to be sure from a collectors standpoint its not a phantom unless it has the AN in the VIN.

    Deer Hit

    glad you are well and thanks for sharing. I travel at night a lot and in areas where there are a lot of deer. I am encouraged to say the least about your experince and you are right a hit on two wheel from a deer can and usually is a VERY serious event. This is one of the reasons I bought a spyder.

    Yes valves are suppsoed to be checked at 6000 miles however the consensus on this board is that unless you are having problems starting yours this is overkill and most likely not necessary however only you can make that call.

    There has been an issue with the coolant tank cracking you should check that if the coolant smeel returns. Also the gass smell is somewhat common. I get it occasssionally too and it seems to come and go for no real reason. Some have said the gas cap leaks others talk about the evap canister etc...
