• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Leaning motorcycles

I watched stage one of the Paris Nice bicycle race today. At least 2 of the accompanying motorcycles had 2 wheels at the front and could lean. They also had detachable side cases at the rear. I'm sure they weren't 3 wheeled scooters but could not get a good look at them Any ideas?

Harley Trike - With Trike & Bike mode

I like it. Reminds me of the Piaggio MP3. Stay in bike mode until you are going very slow then switch to trike mode to support the bike. Just what I need but can't afford.

What is your definition of "warm enough to ride"?

I'm very near 80, so am a bit of a wimp. 50F is about my lower limit & I will wear a heated liner & heated gloves. It is supposed to be enjoyable not a test of hardiness.

    2013 Rt Limited

Thanks I used to use delrin bushings at work about 20yrs ago. I couldn't grease them because it could have caused contamination in my chemical reaction. However, when I fit them to my Spyder GS A arms I will put some synthetic grease on them as it is a PITA to replace them. The longer they last...

    JT Air Filter Mod... Modded

I took my JT conversion off after 1 riding season. It was too darn noisy, especially when the throttle was opened. It barked very loudly. I wear earplugs & still found it offensive. Very happy with my OEM airbox back on. I had the foam pre filter on. Each to his own I guess.

    Millennials and Harley Davidson

CVT scooters with engines of 400cc or larger are great. I would (and have) cover large distances on them with ease. Just can't hold them upright these days.

    want info on 2008 spyders

I have a 2008 with 25,000 miles. It is the SM5 or manual gearchange model. Mechanically it has been very reliable. I do all the servicing myself. I did not find the original riding position comfortable so have spent quite a bit of time and money to get it to my liking. When I picked it up from...
