• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We decided to go on the Crusin Cabarrus ride for DSS today. They estimated about 70 bikes participated. Among these were 4 Spyder RT's. It was really nice to meet and talk with them about our bikes and our riding. The strangest things there were 3 Stallions. That's the first time I had seen...

    Blue Ridge Parkway

My wife and I were originally headed for Fancy Gap to get on the parkway, but with the threat of rain we decided to cut it a little short. We got on at US 21 and rode south to Blowing Rock. We wanted to see the leaf color, and it was good but it will be even better in a week or two. Our total...

Central NC Spyder-Ride - Sat October 13 - starting in Durham, NC - who is interested?

Durham Ride Even though we are in Concord, it sounds like fun. If scheduling permits, we could come to Durham for the event. Keep us posted. It goes without saying, the more advanced notice the better, so arrangements can be made.

Color Option When we decided to buy, it was the pearl white that absolutely got our attention. That is how we ended up with the limited.

    Todays Ride

My wife and I took a nice ride north on 601 to Mt. Airy, NC. There was a county fair and a trike ride in. Most of the trikes were of the highly modified type with VW engines in them. There were not many there and no Spyders except ours. Oh well, maybe next year. Still really enjoyed the ride.:)

    Rear Seat Cup Holder

Went to Babies-R-Us, looking for the clip-on cup holder that is talked about. While there, I found a different cup holder and it isn't lime green. It is made be Liquid Holster and it clamps onto the hand grip just like it was made for it. It costs a little more ($20.00 US) than the other, but...
