• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    SM5 or SE5

I don't know if it's lack of buyers or BRP's subtle way to tell us that they want the SE5 to be the main model. But here in Kansas City, there are few, new SM5 available, and all their showrooms have all colors of SE5. And Moon Silver is faster, especially like last Friday night when the...

Both FRont Tires Wearing Inside Bad.

Here's the update...... My dealer says that one wheel was perfectly aligned, no camber problems, no toe-in or out. But the other wheel was way off specs in toe-out. This combination was causing the bike to want to pull to one side, but the other wheel was wanting to make it go straight. The...

    TIRE PRESSURE

I don't have an answer yet. ( If you remember I have the bad inside tire wear on the front tires.) Called back my service dealer, and he said that if the tires were actually wearing that visibly after 5K, that there might be a problem and that it also might be a warranty covered repair. :clap...

    Ask the BRP/Spyder Engineers Questions

Wheel Alignment Problems Is it alignment problems or design problems that are causing the tires to wear so quickly? Can the Spyder be aligned? Camber or toe-in or toe-out should be adjustable, but dealers are saying maybe not. Maybe the answer is in the tire quality? With certain...

Let me get this straight... 1. the Camber is adjustable? dltang says no, nancys toy says yes. 2. the toe alignment is (+) or a toe-out, which explains sometimes the dartiness 3. There is a tool that is an extra for the servicing dealers to buy to align the Spyder? Hopefully, my dealer has...

Back in town from visiting cousin and newborn niece.... First of all, thoughts and prayers also to "AERIALDALL". Glad that he is recovering. Just shows how vulnerable we all are on even these relatively bigger footprint machines. (Although deer don't seem to stop their instictive habits...

    Corbin vs Russell?

We followed dltang and went with Russell Day Long. It was perfect for me, but my wife's butt might be a Corbin. Russell will compress and adjust about 5% over 30-40 hours in the saddle. It's stiffer on the edges, but the bigger "bowl" seems to give better support to hips. Problem my...
