• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Windshield Mod - Opinions/Suggestions Please

Well I am in the market for a new windshield since the bottom corner of my Calsci cracked. I like the concept of the adjustable windshield that CHAD offers but do not really like the look of the actual windshield itself. I like the look of the BRP Ultra Touring Windshield but can't wait till the...

    Sorry Another CHAD Question

Since it appears from all the pictures that the CHAD does not sit flush with the top of the console like the Calsci and the BRP windshields and actually sits above it slightly, just how far above the console does it sit and how much wind/rain do you get coming into the rider area from under the...

    Help finding a previous post

BJT unfortunately i tried this approach as well and 99.9% of the google results point at actual products and not just the theory behind LED lighting, techniques, strategies and supporting load equalizer info. If I was interested in buying products I would go to the NMN website and as such the...

    Help finding a previous post

irish there was a posting about LED lights a while back (can't remember exactly when) and one of the thread posters "got into it just a bit (my words not his)" with the magicman and in essence (I am paraphrasing a bit here) basically inferred that the NMN products were nothing but glorified LED...

    Help finding a previous post

irish2themax I did go through all 500 postings and did not find what I was looking for so it would appear the sears on LED lighting does not quite capture the contents of the posting I am looking for. Hopefully somebody will remember it and point me in the right direction.

    Help finding a previous post

Thanks Randy but this was not the info I was looking for. The posting I am looking for had links to websites that had information not about LED products but about how they worked, what load equalizers are and how they are used with LEDs. If memory serves me correctly there was also some banter...

    Help finding a previous post

With all this talk about LED lights I seem to remember a post earlier where one spyderlover added to the thread with links to webpages that contained info about using LED lights and "how they work". For the life of me I can not find that thread having searched on every possible combination of...

Finally found a LED bulb for tail light

What about distributors in Canada. Are there any that actually stock your products. I did call your office and was given a couple of names but neither of them actually panned out with both saying that they too would have to order through the US.

Finally found a LED bulb for tail light

Magicman I agree with you 100%. The problem I have is that being in Canada I get hit extremely hard with shipping and duty charges (a fact my wife continually reminds me of :lecturef_smilie: ). This financial hit is large enough to be a factor in deciding whether an LED product is purchased or...

Finally found a LED bulb for tail light

Ferno based on the product info I was able to find on the internet it does look as though the Pilot Auto LED bulb has the load balancer built into it. At least this is what the product literature tends to lead you to believe.

Finally found a LED bulb for tail light

Hey Ferno I have the NMN Triple Play along with the NMN center brake light add-on. You will not go wrong ordering this product. Install was very easy and is an extremely well built product. Support from NMN is also the best around. The triple play most definitely does improve your visibility...

    Cooling Fan Manual Override Switch

Well had a chance to take the bike out for quite a long ride and played with the fan override switch. It works like a charm in keeping the bike at about 4 bars in stop and go traffic. I would not suggest keeping the fan running all the time, not because of some technical reason but more of a...

Finally found a LED bulb for tail light

Hey Ferno I would prefer an all in one type solution like the Pilot Automotive LED bulb as opposed to the two part solution of a Kuryakyn LED bulb and a load equalizer. Having said that if there is great difficulty in source the Pilot Automotive LED bulbs here in Canada then I may consider the...

    Rain gear...

I just purchased a 1 piece Bering rain suit in black and hi-viz yellow. I only use this for major down pours since my Joe Rocket pants and Scorpian Commander jacket have removable rain liners. Basically I use the pant and jacket rain liners to provide me some good protection if I get caught...
