• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do I put my RT Ltd into Neutral and shut off parking brake alarm?

Can also get a "FOBO Bike 2" tire pressure monitor set of valve caps, then you just need to look at your phone to check pressures on all tires at once. :ohyea:

Have a big blue jack and a number of tools, but I'm not a professional mechanic. :-) Find it on Map! Ok, didn't expect it to create this. LOL

Old School Rider - The only sounds I need are the wind and the bike!

Kinda depends on what I'm doing. If the scenery is beautiful or the roads are technical, the music is off. :2excited: If I'm doing 300 miles straight down the slab, music gives me some distraction. :gaah:

Who would have thought that Grip Puppies could make such a difference!

Cool! This looks like just what I've been searching for. I tried the foam grips and didn't like them. Just ordered a pair. We'll see!:2thumbs:

Spyderlovers - Facebook - Or Both?

Facebook sucks. I constantly miss things because their algorythm decides it isn't something I want to see. Forums are perfect for avoiding all that. I only use facebook to follow things like bands, restaurants, etc., because that's the only place they post things. If there's any other...

    Is it Zumo time???

Yes very true! And I’ve had it in the rain for multiple days in a row with no issues.

    Which Spyder - Tall Rider

I'm 6'5", coming from a Harley Road King (and other cruisers) and the RT LTD fits me perfectly. The windscreen is plenty high so I don't get any buffeting, and I guess I like leaning forward into turns so I don't have any issues feeling like I'm being thrown off. I've sat on the F3 and I think...

    Is it Zumo time???

I use the mount on the handlebar risers from LaMonster

    Is it Zumo time???

Love my Zumo and have used it for years. Will using a Zumo eliminate the glare issue? - nothing is perfect, but I've never had any issue. Can I use Rever with the Zumo for turn-by-turn directions? - yes, you can export from Rever and import to Zumo If there is a specific destination punched...

I got hit.... but NOT on my bike!

Bravo for giving an idiot some instant karma. If some :cus: hurt my dog, I'd probably be in prison soon afterward.

How to carry a cane on Spyder RT

One person I've ridden with has a sort of vertical sheath attached on the side of the passenger seat that they drop it in.

Reservations made for next year's Deadwood Three Wheel Rally!

I'll be there this year. I hope. Was all set to go last year and had to back out at the last minute. ;) Reservations are made anyway!

    Garmin Map Update 2024.20

Does anyone actually use BaseCamp? I tried to use it because I really wanted to lay out a trip on my PC and then transfer it to the GPS. But basecamp can't even find my house, let alone create a route nearly as well as the native GPS can. It definitely doesn't seem to be the PC version of the...

Bumped from behind -- how bad is this fender damage?

Seems that way, but it doesn't. Or I can't figure out how to make it.

Bumped from behind -- how bad is this fender damage?

I was leading a group and when leaving a stop sign, they person behind me thought I was "going" when in fact I was moving forward to try to get a view of oncoming traffic. BONK. :banghead: They bumped into me at super low speed and hit dead center in the rear fender. From what I can tell...
