• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Something Old, Something New

Lol, yeah not a flattering shot there. When I'm cruising down the highway, my elbows can rest on my knees. I was riding like this when I realized my coin slot was showing for the past 15 miles or so. Eye bleach all around. ;) Scotty, can't wait to see some of your bikes. Next year at...

    Something Old, Something New

I just purchased a 1970 BMW R60 Cafe Racer and rode her back home 350 miles. After hopping back on my Spyder, I gained a new appreciation for how lucky we are that automotive technology has advanced in 40 years. For example: Starting the Bike We like to complain about the inconvenience of...

    Karma

I'm at a bike event riding with a friend on an HD. Ten or so sportbikes are lined up just across the street while their riders are standing near them. They all turn to see the racket when I fire up the Tailgunner. I figure I'll give them a show so I throw it into reverse and hammer on the...

I've struck out too. I have the Corbin fender so the license plate isn't an option for me. Most of the flag mounts are made for sissy bars. :(

    SE Arizona

I'm flying to Arizona and renting a Royal Enfield Bullet in September. I'd love to see some sights and ride the hell outta the rental. Anyone in the area interested in joining me for some or all of the trip? I have not settled on a weekend yet.

    Tumbler

Exactly, Deb! FYI, I do have a Talon alarm. Haven't used it since last year. Not pleased with it and also not particularly worried about people messing with my bike.

    Tumbler

Got stuck the other day when neither of my keys would fit into the ignition. After 20 minutes in the ridiculously hit sun, I used a screwdriver handle to tap it in and move the tumblers. WD-40 didn't help. Brute force ftw.

    Traansformers? Don't bother!

Bah, you old foggies wouldn't understand. :) I grew up on the cartoons. I thought the movie was decent minus too much comic relief. The first one was definitely better but at least we got to see Optimus kick some decepticon ass! Also, I could watch Megan Fox fold laundry for two hours. I...

    Two-wheel motorcycle recommendations

:agree: Buell's are very innovative and reliable. They're also made right here in the states. Also consider this- my next bike. :) It's a nice alternative to a sportbike and is quite small and efficient.

    My Future Spyder Rider

Couldn't resist. This is the "daddy" part in my handle. :) I take him around the block on the :spyder2: in 1st gear. He loves it and cries every time I turn off the motor.
