• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

To each, his own ---- but . . . . . . . . I have seen a couple of negative comments on the aesthetics of the robo-brackets. I don't get it. On my GS they blended in, they were ' invisible '. Nobody ever noticed them. I don't see anything really different in the F3 version, so I am not sure...

Official Can Am Spyder Shop Manual

"Will that be paper or electrons?" I have this manual, it is an exact copy of the Can Am manual. Downloaded it, then put it on my iPhone & iPad. Yes, you can print it all out or just the pages you need when you need them. Had one for my GS, well worth it, recently bought the one for my F3...

MY F3-S build video and hi from a guy up north :D

Nice . . . . . . . if you can say that about a spring. Fantastic pics. I especially like the head-on shot with the road & house in the background AND the one in front of BRP. Tom

    I can't counter steer

The answer is . . . . . . . . Yes, they have. No, it isn't really practical or useful. Remember, like many have stated, it is steering, like a car. If it was a good thing to lean the body ( beyond the normal suspension ), race cars would do it. Spyders are made to be ridden, they are not a...

    1st Post

Can't help with the RT info . . . . . . . but lots of others here will. As far as the low mileage, lots of 'new' to motorcycles riders buy Spyders and they don't generally ride as much as others who have ridden cycles for years. Other Spyder riders almost qualify for being homeless. Really...

Please Help a Fellow SpyderLover out

You could sure use that Lift!!! That is a great picture, I know that image will pop into my head from time to time and provide a chuckle. I hope you win. Heck, with that lift, you could fit another Spyder in your garage, by stack parking them! Cool. Unfortunately, I can't vote for you since...

    At long last

a bit more? ? ? ? ? . . . . . . A UK "bit" must be a lot bigger than the US "bit" for the F3 to be a little higher on the power scale than a scooter. But then, maybe you guys have bigger scooters than we have. :roflblack: No matter, enjoy your new ride. Tom

    Brake pedal position?

When I ride . . . . . . . . my heel kind of hangs on the peg and the brake pedal is at the ball of my foot - it is perfect! There is about a quarter inch gap between my foot and the pedal and I can brake in an instant - there is no lifting my foot and stepping on the brake - it is like the...

    I can't counter steer

Exactly . . . . . . . . . as you go into a turn to the Left, straighten your Right Leg and "stand" on the peg - it will support your bodies weight and the centrifugal force acting on it. Your butt will come up off and back into the seat a little providing a nice firm brace. And keep your Left...

Nice to see . . . . . . . you drop in again. I am am glad to hear your back is good with the F3. I am tending to go with the don't do it advice, but agree, that is up to the kind of friendship you have. My advice is to consider selling one of your other bikes. That is probably a painful...

if you don't want to go to their site . . . . . . . . I have an Album of Madstad's prototype for the F3 and some pictures of the install I did on my GS. The shield & hardware are not the same for the F3. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/album.php?albumid=506 And, back when, you could buy...
