• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    He's finally "HOME"!!

Well after a few weeks of trials and tribulations, Big Blue is FINALLY in the driveway! Rode him about 70 miles home and it was AWESOME! The wife and I are going to dinner tonight and, you guessed it, Big Blue is our escort. Can't wait to get out and ryde some more! This has been a dream in the...

    Engine issue

After speaking to the dealer about my bike, i was told it would be ANOTHER week before i would see it again! So, i stopped payment on my check and told the dealer i'd be looking elsewhere. I've located a new 2012 RT-S in the same color as the first one. So, this time tomorrow, i should be...

    Lets Take a Moment

Just got off the phone with my sister-in-law. She is currently in labor at her home on the CT/RI border. All seems to be going well. Just hope she can get to a hospital when the need arises.

    PAY IT FORWARD

If you still have the shifter and floorboards, I could sure use em. Used to have a heel/toe and floorboards on my two wheel and i'm thinking this is going to be a sorely missed luxury on my new SM5 RT.

    Engine issue

Its a dealer in Georgetown. The dealer (non Can Am) i bought it from took it there for a problem i had during purchase and this was the result. Sounds like they're knowledgable and they're going to take care of me. Once i actually take possession of the bike and get him home, I'll be hunting for...

    Engine issue

So, I called them tonight for an update. They said the tech was finally able to get the diagnostic done today. The official ruling is a fouled plug and bad plug wires. The mechanic says he is going to "sync" the throttle body while he's got the bike cracked open. They say I'm looking at next...

    Engine issue

I did speak to the Can-Am dealer they took it to. The service manager assured me that ALL required services/updates would be done before it leaves his shop.

    Engine issue

So, I called the Can-Am dealer today to get an update on the :spyder2:. The service manager was a real nice fella and knew who I was as soon as I mentioned the bike. He told me that they got it in yesterday and the mechanic was realitively certain that it's a throttle body issue. The tech was...

    San Antonio Dealers

I should be getting my RT-S by next weekend. I live in San Antonio but am buying from a dealer out of Round Rock. I was wondering from the San Antonio area folks, who do you recommend for service? Trying to find a reputable shop nearby for routine maintenance, warranty work etc. Thanks in advance.

    Engine issue

Well, i have a verdict. The Can-Am guy says its either the throttle body or the throttle body sensor. He says 2-3 days and it's covered under warranty and i'll be on the road!

    Engine issue

I did test ride, thats the problem. I rode the day i looked at it and it ran great! I put a deposit down, got my financing squared away an went back a week later to pick it up and do the final paperwork. Then it all went to He££.

    Engine issue

"major" issue? In your experience, is this something that should have me looking elsewhere for a Spyder? Or is this something that, with the proper attention from a trained Can-Am mechanic, can be resolved with no further problems?
