• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    REMOVING 1" BRP RISER?

I don't know anything about your new risers. Removing the BRP riser is that easy, if it is there. The BRP riser does not come stock and would have to have been added by the previous owner.

    storage solutions

Used my TrikeBarn for two years before a change of vehicles left the Spyder with a space in the carport. It was a well made product; wonderfully simple to use. http://www.thebikebarn.net/can_am_spyder_roadster_cover.html

    12 volt outlet Questions !!!

:agree::agree::agree: First of all you should not put a larger fuse than the wiring was designed to support. Second, the load will not be supported even with the larger fuse and if there are any issues your warranty will not be worth the paper it's written on when electrical problems arise...

    A Good Deal?

What does that say about the validity of those of us that purchased our extended warranty in 2008? My dealer has not said anything about my extended warranty no longer being valid. I assume they are honoring those already sold, but no issuing any more. Any idea what the reason is. :dontknow:

"I may have to fiddle around with the shocks one of these days--just don't have the technical know-how." If you can use a jack and know how to loosen and tighten a bolt, you can replace your shocks. It is not a technically difficult thing to do.

    Opinions on long-term driveway/outside parking?

Two Thumbs Up :2thumbs: For the Bike(Trike) Barn. I used mine for two years until the Spyder got a spot in the carport. It is so much more convenient than the outdoor cover when you are home.

    The Trip Home

I lived in the Washington DC area for about 10 yrs and used to know the Skyline Drive like the back of my hand. I agree that 3 days for the whole thing is reasonable. Since you are not riding in the "leaves are changing" time of year, the traffic should not be too bad. Fog/clouds can close in...
